Mela Guild was found in 2009-2010. The exact date is forgotten to the drunken oblivion, since the forming members were under the influence of alcohol. The forming of our guild happened on an unnamed island near Turku, the capital of Finland. The forming ritual started with 2 days of heavy drinking, rowing to nearby village to plunder all the beer ( great fail ), rowing back with only 1 paddle (which is MELA in finnish) drinking while burning 500 kg of wood and the 1 paddle that we had left. The guild didn't form in our minds right away. It clunched it's way into our subconciousness, creeping in the dark alleys of our minds, destroying our braincells and finally emerging to surface in the form on "MELA!" -exclamation, found on a funny youtube video. After much drinking and rejoice, we made the "MELA!"-exclamation the symbol of our friendship and way of life. A symbol which no one outside our guild would understand. A year passed, and a great game named SWAT 4 came along. We started playing with the MELA-guild, adding the word "mela" after our names. After thousands and thousands of unauthorized uses of deadly force and innocent civilians shot, we came up with the idea of expanding our territory into the GuildWars. On 1.9.2012 the Mela Kilta was found. Our goal is to fight soberness, spread good music, play the damn game and give zero ( 0 ) fucks about those around us.
