Those who serve in the Police / Law Enforcement - Fire and Rescue Services - Ambulance / EMT Services - are a special breed of individuals. Only those who serve within these fields can appreciate the bond which exists, and fewer still can appreciate the pressures within which such individuals operate. Only those who serve on a daily basis can know such things, and it is this bond which makes us special people. Some have died trying to serve. Others have had their lives altered as a result of injury sustained. None can appreciate such a life, bar those who put the uniform on every day.
This is why 'The Badge' has been born. To bring together like-minded individuals who serve. Those who make that difference every day, but who go on as 'silent heroes'.
