TFoT Was founded june 5 2006 as a PvP PvE Guild for a fast group of friends, who have known eachother in real life for a couple of years. Most of them quited playing guildwars, so i was left alone with my guild, and TFoT was inactive for about a year. Now we are restarting the guild and looking for new members, keeping al the old values of a relaxed PvE group focussed on helping fellow guild members.
Mission statement
Having Fun - Above all else, we believe in having fun at what we are doing. We believe that Guild Wars provides the perfect place for friends to gather and group together. Our clan is all about being able to log into the game, and find some of your buddies ready to play right along with you.
Open Membership - Anyone is welcome to join the The Flame of Tyria Guild with a new character that conforms to our policies.
Community and Cooperation - Nothing is more important to our members than the Flame of Tyria Guild itself. Everything is shared and expected to remain within the community. Our combat tactics may often times be non-conventional and emphasize on cooperation rather than individual skill. We do-not sell items to fellow guild mates - instead - we offer them freely, as we believe a good guild is one that helps each other out. We don't however hand out money to other guild mates (nor do we encourage anyone in the clan to do so) until they have been with us long enough to establish reputation & trust.
Respect - All members of the Flame of Tyria Guild are expected to be mature members of the community, treating ALL fellow members with respect. Not only do we expect everyone to treat our own members with respect, but we expect you to treat any other player with respect also. They may be in a different guild, but they are still our allies. Treat all Guild Wars players with respect at all times.
Keeping Everything Friendly - We operate 100% within the rules of the game, which means no cheating, bug exploiting, illegal 3rd party programs, or other violations of the games TERMS OF SERVICE are ever allowed. Violators will be banished from the clan - forever. Characters that become traitors to the The Flame of Tyria Guild are treated very poorly, and will be banished and prohibited from ever rejoining our Guild. Help your fellow clan members. Share with them. You never know when that good deed will be returned!
Guild Goals - The Flame of Tyria Guild is looking for people who are not afraid to take charge and do for themselves. We don't want people here who are expecting to be power leveled quickly by our level 20's. We want people who have common sense enough to solve in game problems on their own, but are willing to participate and group with fellow guild mates. If you are joining us because you want (or expect) us to get you to Level-20 quickly, or want us to give you money, then you are seriously joining the wrong guild. We don't want TAKERS, BEGGARS, or FREELOADERS here!
Our overall goal is to do High-End missions as a guild only, with no outside help. To do this, we are looking for loyal people who will work hard to obtain Level-20, and continue to be TFOT members after doing so. There is always an pre-searing guild trainer for low-level characters to help them on their way.
