History
Founded in 1078 AE, by Etzan Moora, the Twilight Blade began as a mercenary group made up solely of displaced Ascalonians looking for a means of income. Initially they behaved like any mercenary group would, they would take contracts from the highest bidders and serve as soldiers, enforcers, or guards for as long as they were paid. But as war loomed closer in Kryta they were forced to make an important decision. Would the side with the White Mantle? Obviously they had the funds to pay them and it seemed likely that they would win this war. Or... should The Twilight Blade side with the Rebels? What it came down to was honor. No matter what the White Mantle could offer them it would never make up for slaughtering their own countrymen. The Twilight Blade raised their weapons and swore allegiance to the Shining Blade. In 1079 the Twilight Blade had become a new military faction. No longer a militia for hire they served along side the Shining Blade in the War in Kryta.
