Rubies and Sapphires[edit]
Q: Linsey Murdock confirmed that rubies and sapphires do not drop from any creature. Does a rule exist which enemy or species drops it or are there just a few 'chosen' ones which were picked more or less randomly?
Q: In particular, a theory among players states that every enemy who is able to drop them also drops at least one (other) rare crafting material and – in reverse – every enemy who drops any rare crafting material is also able to drop a ruby or a sapphire. Is this correct?
