So...[edit]

... what do you think has changed since last time? poke | talk 18:56, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

i'm 2 months older--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 18:57, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
great. poke | talk 18:58, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
i dont think it's cos i'd suck, it's just i'm inexperienced--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 18:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
So you think that has changed..? poke | talk 18:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Do you really think those two months give you a fighting chance, or are you running "for the sake of running" and/or "the hell of it"? (This counts as a "candidate question") Calor Talk 19:00, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
kinda for the hell of it, but i've become a bcrat elsewhere since then--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 19:01, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
That magically imbues you with knowledge and insight? I must have missed that bit of hocus pocus :< -Auron 19:47, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
no, but i feel i have a better chance than last time because of it. i still don't think i stand a chance in hell of winning, but miracles do happen--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 20:06, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I support this guy :D Halogod35 User Halogod35 Sig.jpg 20:13, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
Matey , as you know I like you alot, So I'm saying this in the spirit of friendship, but against Aiiane, Anja, Defiant and Tanetris you really don't stand a chance but good luck to you. -- Salome User salome sig.png 14:02, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
i know i dont stand a chance, but what have i to lose in trying?--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 14:59, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm... good question. It is possible, of course, that, if you really do want to be a bureaucrat in the future, these "Why not?" nominations could hurt your chances. User Defiant Elements Sig Image.JPG *Defiant Elements* +talk 15:13, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Defiant i see your point but I don't agree, people shouldn't see SMG's desire to help in a negative light regardless of if he wins or losses, it should just show a determination on his behalf. Anyhoo SMG, just a wee suggestion matey, but if you want more yay votes it might be an idea to get more involved in policy discussion and the adminy side of the wiki. I'm not really involved in those areas and thus why I never run for an admin role. -- Salome User salome sig.png 08:05, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm not saying that the outcome would hurt his chances in the future, I'm saying that people may interpret his attitude toward running negatively. User Defiant Elements Sig Image.JPG *Defiant Elements* +talk 16:25, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

This guy for an admin? He would ban one of us for "the hell of it"-Random person in-game "Hot N Hyper" =3 <---Character --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:70.146.228.24 (talk).

Not to belittle you or anything, but you clearly don't know much about the GWW community. If a Bureaucrat (or any Admin for that matter, but Bureaucrats in particular -- as per GWW:ADMIN, Bureaucrats are only allowed to block in emergencies) were to ban someone for the hell of it, the orgy of wikidrama that followed would A. result in his or her demotion, and B. probably drive him or her off the Wiki period. That said, while SMG could still do so regardless, I highly doubt he would. 85.71.168.42 16:58, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
*sigh* 70.146.228.24, you clearly don't know what i'm like. i think, and i'm sure most would agree, that it's pretty clear from my manner that has been shown on the wiki that i wouldn't ban someone for "the hell of it"--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 17:35, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
oh and DE, a laid-back approach to running isn't necesserily a bad thing. take the election before this one. Aberrant was laidback about running, and he won the election, so i wouldn't say that it would matter--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 17:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
There's a difference between a laid-back approach and a "I'm gonna run for the hell of it" approach. 85.71.168.42 17:59, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
there is, and i think i can confidently say i'm on the laid-back side, seeing as i'm taking the time to debate the points raised here--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 20:11, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
I wouldn't say I was laid-back, I just said I'd go for it if I asked to :) I think what prompted DE's previous comments was how you first responded to Calor, Auron, and Salome up top, with the "for the hell of it" comment. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 05:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Question[edit]

(I'm also jumping on the bandwagon of people who ask the same question to all candidates, so bear with me a bit) I would like to ask, in what ways do you think being a bureaucrat would allow you to help the wiki more than as a common user or a sysop? Erasculio 02:13, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

i would be able to keep a cool head in cases which involve ArbComm attention and I believe that i could keep personal feelings out of the matte in hand and look simply at the facts--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 06:50, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Who else?[edit]

I just had a quick question. If you were not able to vote for yourself, what other current candidate would you vote for and why?--Yankeefan984 22:59, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

hmmm, that's a hard 1, seeing as there's plenty of other candidates that could do the job very well. Brains is standing a good chance, and i wouldn't be suprised if Aiiane won either, but, at this stage, i would probably vote for Brains--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 06:52, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

:/[edit]

I pointed out a copyright violation on his guitar hero wiki roughly a week ago, and the problem hasn't been remedied. That shows either a lack of dedication and/or a lack of time to fix the problem. -Auron 00:30, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

I actually fixed that, you could have done it as well... as simple as adding a small note at the bottom :) --Shadowphoenix Please, talk to me; I'm so lonley ;-; 00:54, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Actually, attributing it would require either a full history dump or a link to the (GWW) credits page. It's still not properly attributed. -Auron 01:24, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
didn't see that 1, i'll replace it with my own wording this afternoon--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 06:49, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
You might want to check more policies, I'm fairly certain NPA wasn't the only one copied verbatim. -Auron 07:32, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
it's the only 1 i've done, and unless there's some that others did before i went there, the there's no copyvio--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 15:16, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

You have my vote.[edit]

My only request is that you don't use numbers when you type. So instead of saying "that 1 pisses me off", in which I would question why the number 1 pisses you off, you'd say "that one pisses me off". Then I'll vote for you. Vael Victus Pancakes. 14:54, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Fine. I wouldn't vote for an ignorant man. Vael Victus Pancakes. 16:16, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
i saw what you said, but i decided that your reasoning for voting is ridiculous. and btw, i'm not a man (yet), i'm still only 14--Sum Mesmer GuyTalk to me NOW!! DO IT! contribs 19:09, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
So, in conceit, or fear of the internet, you just ignored it. Sure sounds like someone I want as a bureaucrat. Vael Victus Pancakes. 15:23, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

hes got my vote. He is quite level headed, and has proven to be a good contributor to this wiki. Imo, if you dont make burecrat, you should have an RfA--User Raph Sig.pngRaph Talky 01:46, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

Ye but Raph uses user page to violate NPA so why listen to him >:-/. Dark Morphon(contribs) 09:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
