I'm nominating Tanetris to run in this election considering his place as runner-up in the previous election. Calor Talk 18:48, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Er, ok; but besides being a runner-up(almost making it right?) last election, what other advantages will he give to the bureaucrats? No offense meant. King Bazaah User King Bazaah sig.png 23:02, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
u have my vote <3 --Cursed Angel talk 23:55, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
In light of that really, REALLY, long debate(plus the pros/cons) I think that at this point you have my vote as well King Bazaah User King Bazaah sig.png 01:07, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Too bad you don't have enough contributions to vote, King. Calor Talk 01:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
I have what 5 days? Wanna bet on that? ;D King Bazaah User King Bazaah sig.png 01:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Two months[edit]

You did very well last election, and had a good chance of winning, but chose to end the standstill by withdrawing. You were an excellent candidate two months ago, but I want to ask now: In what ways, if any, do you feel you've improved as a potential bureaucrat? What's different from last election? Calor Talk 00:07, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't think I've particularly improved as a potential bureaucrat, or at least not anymore than every user, from the newest registered to those who've been here since the wiki was created, gains that much more experience as time passes. I will say that I'm more interested in the position than I was last election: I've had more time being a sysop since then, and while I still enjoy being a sysop, I no longer feel like I would be missing out on the chance to experience sysophood. In the last election, I believed (and have not seen anything in the meantime to make me doubt that belief) that Auron and I would make equally competent bureaucrats, so what it really came down to was my own personal preference to remain a sysop at the time. - Tanetris 03:08, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Question[edit]

(I'm also jumping on the bandwagon of people who ask the same question to all candidates, so bear with me a bit) I would like to ask, in what ways do you think being a bureaucrat would allow you to help the wiki more than as a common user or a sysop? Erasculio 02:13, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't believe I can help the wiki more as a bureaucrat than as a sysop. All other things being equal, the same person is most likely to be more helpful as a sysop. I'm not the most active or most prolific sysop, but I do my share, and I feel I and each other sysop makes a tangible difference for the betterment of the wiki. That said, when a bureaucrat is needed, it's important to have good ones, and I believe I would be a good one. - Tanetris 03:08, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Who else?[edit]

I just had a quick question. If you were not able to vote for yourself, what other current candidate would you vote for and why?--Yankeefan984 23:00, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Congrats[edit]

just wanted to say congrats! -- Salome User salome sig.png 23:20, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

You're a tad bit early. People still had more than a day to chnage their mind. Backsword 00:47, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
You would need alot of people changing their minds. -- Salome User salome sig.png 22:04, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Still 52 minutes or so until vote counting and deciding begins. Calor Talk 22:09, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Decision is now based on a pure biggest positive vote tally wins basis. Thus by the looks of it Tanetris is a shoe in. -- Salome User salome sig.png 22:15, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Congrats--Yankeefan984 17:02, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
