Default part of 1.14[edit]

Hi guys! Sorry about the delay on this. I brought the request up again to IT, and we discovered that this is going to be a default part of MediaWiki 1.14. Since we'd have to make a bunch of changes to the current site to get Lucene to work in its current state, we've decided that it would probably be best just to hold off on the install until the next upgrade. --UserEmilyDiehlStar.gif Emily Diehl (talk) 01:05, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

OK; I'm not the most elighten on these matters, but... 1.13? Backsword 01:15, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Yes, Backsword, we are using 1.13 currently and 1.14 will contain that feature. It's easier to make a complete upgrade as soon as 1.14 is out that going through many files and doing a lot of small changes. poke | talk 09:44, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Er, we're currently using 1.12. They decided to skip 1.13 for now, remember? Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 09:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
uuuuuuhm... yaa ^^ poke | talk 10:28, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
To clear this: it's integrated within MW1.13alpha and then only requires the MWSearch extension as a backend. poke | talk 10:42, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
