Stuck at Minister Cho's Estate

I have two Factions characters I have played up to Minister Cho's estate, but now I am stuck because both times the mission was aborted and I can't get it back. I think I figured out what went wrong--I don't care for the lore, so I skip the cinematics, whenever they start I click "skip." But for that mission if you click "skip" at any point it aborts the entire mission. After that you can never get to Ran Musu Gardens or retake the mission from Master Togo, in fact you just run out of quests and can never get off the island. I'd like to avoid having to level another character to get back to that point, since it will be the third time. Is there any way to reset that mission so I can retake it with my existing avs? --76.17.207.234 04:47, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

There are no missions that fail because you skip a cinematic. Are you at the outpost called Minister Cho's Estate? If so, you can enter the mission at any time. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 04:54, 6 April 2012 (UTC)

--Okay, thanks. I didn't see the button to do that and the quest disappeared from my list, so I thought I was stuck.

UWSC T4 Suicide Run

hello, i'm running the UWSC as a "t4", and people are asking in their party searches for "t4 suicide", and I would just like to know what that is, and how it works. Are the builds changed? Do the players have to run a different route? Or are there enemies you can't kill and can kill? Like I would like to know the basics of what this "t4 suicide" thing is about, please and thank you. 99.252.204.212 15:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Enjoy! Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 15:49, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
"Q: Why is it called suicide/true?
A: Because you have just enough time to kill the horsemen before the skeles spawn and, without any self-heal (the T4 has only EE as self-heal-ish skill), you're pretty much dead. Of course, it's not a must that the T4 dies at the end of the 4H quest, but chances are, let's say high. I'm guessing that true-duo means that there's no cover (be that another terra or the team near the reaper) for any of the terras doing Pits and Planes"

Spam UWSC

I am doing the UWSC as a t3 and i would like to ask a question, it may seem silly. Are there two different kinds of spams? For example, I'm a t3 and I run with people with 100 stones+ all the time, and then I run with people with about 0 stones and no experience, is that the same kind of spam or different? please and thank you!99.252.204.212 21:36, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Head Armor on Charr Character

Hello, I was wondering if the head armor show up on a charr race ? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Scail (talk).

Hello, this is a question for GW2wiki. User DrogoBoffin sig icon.png Drogo Boffin 05:08, 17 April 2012 (UTC)

Multiple Character Heroes in One Party

Respectfully...

Is there a way that I can have both my characters in the same party group - I know how to share money and equipment using the Zaishan Chests but really want to be able to have both characters in the same group.

you can't have 2 playable characters in your party. (you can however buy mercenary heroes and create heroes that look like your character, to join you in adventures (note: this won't affect nor benefit the copied character in any way.) --you like that don't you..The Holy Dragons 13:40, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Nightfall Heroes

I can't put my Nightfall heroes into a party in my Prophecies campagne and i can't find out why.--77.58.154.186 15:51, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Did you unlock the heroes using Balthazar Faction? User DrogoBoffin sig icon.png Drogo Boffin 16:47, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Ok even when you unlock them on one character, you still have to do the nightfall storyline to get access to the nightfall heroes on your prophecies character File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 16:59, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

Nightfall

I am currently in War Prepartions (Ghost Reconnaissance)and can't seem to get past that point.I'd like to know how to activate the kneel/emote icon? Ican't find it in the game or on my keyboard. Without this I am at a loss for progressing through the game.

Like all emotes in GW, you activate them by typing / (slash) followed by the action you wish t obe performed. Examples: /dance /kneel /wave . Link to the emote page. Hope this was helpful and solved the issue. Gaudy Gourd God 14:12, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
How do you type within the game? I can't even find out how to enter text into my Nightfall story book. How do I get to the type Text page?--74.77.201.175 14:25, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
Hiya, when you get to the stage to kneel, type /kneel in the chat space (press Enter to open the chat section, then type /kneel, then press enter). (further emotes can be found on the emotes page) File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 14:12, 26 April 2012 (UTC) (this was my edit conflicted message above)
Also you don't actually type anything into the storybook, it just fills automatically as you complete missions beyond the the island of istan (no book pages for the first 3 missions in normal mode). File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 14:28, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Joining a Guild

What do you type in to join anyone's guild because i'm looking for a guild and i typed in /looking for a guild but it didn't bring it up--68.53.0.208 19:12, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Usually, either writing "Looking for guild" and perhaps adding some specifics you're interested in, for example region (U.S., EU, Asian/Oceanian), or type (PvP, PvE, casual, speedclear), and sending it out in "All" chat in larger cities (Kamadan, Lions Arch, Great Temple of Balthazar) should give you a guild invite fairly fast. Or you could look for people advertising for their guild. Normally these people write the specifics of the guild/alliance. Gaudy Gourd God 19:30, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
A few guilds list themselves under category:Recruiting guilds and you can also do a google search for guilds. My preferred way of finding a guild (when I'm not too lazy) is to join PUGs for longer dungeon or mission runs — you can see if people are fun to play with, if they are good leaders/followers, and if their play style matches your own. Good luck. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:29, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Can't seem to shoo away the flamingo's in the farmers field.--74.77.201.175 21:41, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

In the text area (press Enter to make it appear), type /shoo then press enter again. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 22:00, 29 April 2012 (UTC)

Do missions together with a friend

I am a Prophecies character, have finished Prophecies campaign, almost finished Eye of the north campaign and currently playing Factions campaign. My friend is a Prophecies character currently in After-searing Ascalon. Can I play with him missions and quests and how can it happen in technical terms? Thanks in advance --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.66.43.35 (talk) at 21:39, 29 April 2012 (UTC).

You can travel to any of the early prophecies missions that you did yourself using the World map - with any luck you can meet him in an outpost and add him to your group. From there, your friend won't be able to travel anywhere on the world map directly that he hasn't been to before (i.e. probably post-searing missions + outposts only). You can do anything that he can do (just bear in mind limited mission rewards for yourself if you've already completed them!)
