Talk:"You Will Die!"

Isnt this skill FAR too weak? Look at Signet of Aggression on paragon, unconditional 2 adren every 5 seconds for 0 energy. This is 3 adren when your opponent is under 50% hp every 15 seconds with 5 energy cost and you need to be specced for it to be good 76.26.189.65 16:17, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Don't compare skills that aren't in the same profession. Instead, compare it to "To the Limit", Enraging Charge, "For Great Justice". All these are not as conditional, and work better in my opinion. FGJ does great for 20 seconds, and "To the Limit" helps to get a nice chunk at the start of combat, when you need it most. Some skills just stink. StatMan 06:26, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

It suffers from bad design. Even if it had its numbers buffed it wouldn't be worth taking because of the way it functions. You want to unload adrenaline to make them below 50%, not to start gaining it. Enraging Charge serves as this function, as well as a speed boost, making it such a better choice. Only way it'll see use is if it gets a complete re-design. Dagger Wagger 20:01, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Shouting to your foe "You will dieee!!" is enough for me to equip this. --88.112.91.132 16:07, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

I think this skill would be kick ass if the recharge was reduced to spammable at foes with >50% Health. 'Maybe,' change function to, "If target foe is above 50% health gain 1..3..4 adrenaline, otherwise nothing happens and this skill recharges for X secs." (X being a reasonable, but usefull time. Perhaps around 2-5 secs?) Adamaxis 21:03, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, this skill pretty much sucks, no idea what Izzy was thinking...Psychiatric Consultant 13:58, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean, useless? Use Bleed/Deep wound on an Sword, and then "YOU WILL DIE!" And Viola, final thrust finish.Phill Gaston 12:21, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Or you have a foe with more than 480 max health, all your adrenaline's gone and he smashes you to pieces. Noctarch 00:17, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
This would be a neat skill if it caused Cracked Armor instead, or alongside the adrenaline gain... Like "Finish Him!" works... 72.81.247.139 09:58, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
pve != pvp , never try to 'merge' pve and pvp skills lol 78.20.153.111 18:29, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
I love this skill. When I run prage, this pretty much lights up my whole low-adrenaline bar (dismember/penetrating/agonizing) whenever I use it. After a Dismember -> Penetrating -> Agonizing spike, I can pretty much do it again instantly with this, which rocks because my first target is probably dead at that point, anyway. Combo Question[edit]

If you use this while under "For Great Justice!", at 12 Strength, do you get 6 Adrenaline, or does it just double adrenaline gained from attacking and being attacked?Sloh Em Oshun 05:56, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

In PvP, FGJ is only from hitting with attacks. I can't vouch for PvE, though. User Raine R.gif is for Raine, etc. 19:50, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
yes in PvE it should give the 6 points as FGJ affects all adrenaline gained, hence the good old dragon slash spamming. though i always thought it did the same thing in PvP since they nerfed it for only +1A insted of the 100% added to kill DS spamming or has the game mechanics changed when i wasnt looking?--Azreal of SkyrimUser Azreal of skyrim signature.jpg 17:29, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Reference[edit]

Possible reference to Mortal Kombat, Shang Tsung in particular. Final fight in the first film, looking down on Liu Kang he points and says 'I can see into your soul. You will die!' Granted this could not be a reference at all but it is one of the more well known Shang Tsung quotes and is also a quote he uses during some of the games. Possible trivia? True, but on the same movie - when I saw this skill in game I thought of Sindel from the MK2 movie, here's what I found on iMDB
Kitana: Mother! You're alive!
Sindel: Too bad *you*... will DIE!
and the way she says it is how I remembered it when I saw the skill and to me she said it as a sentence with a pause between all three words. WingsOfExilia
Im not sure its from video games, im darn sure its been around from medival times--Neil2250 , Render Lord User Neil2250 sig icon5.jpg 14:29, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
Zelda CDi perhaps?
I find it kind of funny what lengths people go to to say whether or not the name of some skill is a reference to a video game or movie or whatever. This happens for a whole bunch of other skills all over the wiki too. 72.220.21.110 02:43, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Hero use?[edit]

Since heroes aren't the smartest about using other adrenaline boosting abilities like FGJ or TTL I wonder if this would be a reasonable alternative. Yeah, the recharge is kinda crappy, but anyways the real question is how well do heroes use this? I know for abilities like Lifebane Strike they only use it on foes above 50% HP unless it would kill them so maybe it's similar with this? Pjwned 09:36, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
