sooner just roll a elemental.

i'vr tryied it out. it's not bad with some wind dervish builds, but considering that wind isnt a vary reliable attribute that may not be saying much.

This is the KEY skill for a healer dervish. Which, despite opinions of more focused healers such as monks, is one HELL of a PvE support build!! Dervish healing is non stop, and heals everyone - no matter how far away they are, being party targeted. Truly an awesome healer.

While I do like this skill, and have used it successfully (without mystic healing). I really feel like this needs a little love. Some things to consider: lowering the energy cost to 5, increasing duration to 20 (or have it scale with mysticism), lowering casting time, or increase energy gained to 2 per enchant..which would probably be overpowered, but alot more practical --Celtus 14:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Skill Icon[edit]

Perhaps it's me or my ISP but it appears to me that the wiki is missing the .jpg for the skill icon. I'm afraid I don't know much about editting wiki's to upload a new icon. 17:12, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

WTB Buff![edit]

Seriously though, this skill really needs a buff. The concept of this skill is good, but is too much energy for too little time. My suggestion, up to 15-25sec(varry w/ myst.), 1/2 or 1/4 cast time, 5e, and 10 recharge. Keep same mechanics, they work, but needs to be longer lasting for it to actually see serious use.Haseo 21:30, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree this skill needs a buff but the 1 energy per enchantment is to small, for it to be effective you have to have a full bar of enchantments and then you will only have 1 spell left that you can use which would most likely end up as mystic sandstorm but why not use it as 2 energy for each enchant? Keep the same other thats but make it give 1 more energy.. or for every 2 enchantments you get an extra energy.. so at 2 you get 3.. the two from normal use and the extra.. 4 you get 6... the four from normal then 2 extra for 4 enchants.. Why bother with Renewal+Glyph, when there's AoR and Elemental Attunement available for ele primaries? oO Dervish primary doesn't have such similiar e-management skills. Mediggo 09:22, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Glyph+Renewal lets Eles do stuff from other professions, unlike Ele Attunement. Ever hear of Ether Renewal Cryers? Or Protters? Or Infuse Spammers? 02:39, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Um, Dervishes don't need their energy management skill to be better than the ele equivalent. Dervishes are built for other utilities. FleshAndFaith 22:12, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Dervishes are crowd control. They can move fast, take damage, deal damage, prep spikes and offer support. Can you think of a class that does all of those things at the same time better than Dervishes? FleshAndFaith 19:42, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

D/Mo bonder in UWSC?[edit]

Its been a debated topic amongst some people in my guild/ it POSSIBLE for a dervish to replace the role of an elementalist ether renewal bonder in UnderWorld SpeedClear with an arcane zeal bonder? I don't care if its worse, just interested if its possible. Has anyone ever tried this?

The derv would be lacking a spammable enchantment, have no efficient self heal, and would not be able to use infuse for fear of being killed themself. Even though it may be possible for the derv to maintain the enchantments (although I doubt it) they would still most likely die or fail by the end of the run. 18:55, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
