Its more of a joke, with Blimm being a reference to a guy from Office Space. It all became clear when he said "I believe you have my red staff" which equates to "I believe you have my stapler" which happened to be red. Kudos to ANET, i'm surprised more people don't quite catch on.
- It didn't take too long at all to catch on :) several things, like the article says, moving the desk, having his red stapler taken. Other's include constantly saying he's going to burn the lab down, and I'm pretty sure he says something about he still worked there for a few months but then stopped getting paid (Guy in office space had not been "employed" for a few months(years?) but kept getting paychecks, so to fix it they kept moving him, and then stopped payin him. - Blimm not getting a slice of asuracake at the last party is still an allusion to Office Space. Poor Marvin didn't get a piece of birthday cake the last time it was celebrated. Revert[edit]
If you knew I disagreed with something, then why did you say a consensus had been reached? A discussion is ongoing (and you have presumably read this, otherwise you would not have said that you know how strongly I feel), and the "consensus" is from an unfinished discussion between four or five people on something which is still being debated at the link to the Captain Langmar page above. And I don't think you can really argue from consistency when the pages that it needs to be consistent with were changed very quickly on the basis of a false consensus. --Santax (talk · contribs) 22:11, 25 July 2010 (UTC)
- So changing one page to make it unlike all of the other pages also involving this issue will help? Honestly, I don't care what is done, but I'm tired of seeing all of this bickering over which is the correct way to format WiK stuff. Whether or not you agree with it is irrelevant as of this moment (considering all of the other pages are already at this unofficial standard), that's why I suggested making a community portal discussion so you can fight for your case and make it the irrefutable standard, or whatever it is you want. Changing one page out of a plethora of them to what you believe it correct is hardly going to help anything. --- Ness

- I agree. If you'd like to change the format, then you'd better change all of the other pages, too. I am going to change this back to where it was simply to make it consistent with all the other pages until a concensus is reached. Having every page in different formats is not what I would call user friendly. --Musha

- Except it's not consistent with every other page. White Mantle Knight, White Mantle Zealot, Grim Peacekeeper, Dinas, - pretty much every one of these lists the NPC as part of the Prophecies campaign. It's hard to AGF when you've rushed through changes to as many pages as you can, and then every time someone challenges it you revert for a non-existent "consistency". Doing it like that also means you can let the discussion die because you've already got your way.

Guild Wars 2 - Ghosts of Ascalon Spoiler[edit]
In GW2 Blimm is one of the most legendary asura's and there will probably be a dungeon where you'll have to steal the stone wich is in his golem. For further informations read the book "The Ghosts of Ascalon" where Dougal and his friends will steal the stone.

- Yes. Well, at least some of what's in the novels will be. In fact, the author worked very closely with the GW2 team, which is why one of the GW2 team members is listed as the novel's coauthor. So, they created stuff for the book depending on what was going to happen in the GW2 world and they created stuff for the GW2 world based off of what happened in the book. Glitch or?[edit]
For some reason Blimm spawned outside in the Magus Stones on the one hill right next to Rata Sum while I was helping my friend do Oola's Lab. I had Little Workshop of Horrors. I took it this was the way it was supposed to be, but now as I'm trying to find him he's not there. I've tried every combination of the Little workshop of Horros and Oola's Lab quests, but havn't been able to replicate it. Was it a glitch? I havn't found anything about it on this wiki. --DarkShadowSaint 02:06, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
