Split[edit]

This doesn't need a {{split}} tag: the Charr Champion is a specific foe; Vanguard foe is an umbrella term invented by one of the Test Krewe to describe all the foes that Lt Langmar's quests spawn that do not fall into a pre-Searing species. (See Talk:Vanguard foes for more.)

  • The bandits, grawl, and undead spawned by 6 of the quests are not affected by any existing pre-Searing bonuses that relate to grawl, humans, or undead.
  • The charr are (apparently) still affected by +vs Charr modifications. (However, the vanguard armor bonuses are so substantial that small amounts of +AR might not be easily seen.)

So, I think we should remove the split tag and work on both article independently. Whether we decide to classify Utini Wupwup as a Vanguard Foe or a grawl is a separate debate.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 06:09, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

Disagree with the "split" (which should be a move tag as pointed out). This article is solely about the vanguard quest enemy and has no counterpart, thus needs no clarification in the article title. -- Konig/talk 03:50, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Incorrect skill-listing[edit]

They use the same skills as the Charr Axefiends, not the same as Blazefiend Griefblade. Gaudy Gourd God 08:34, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
