Why do these have their own page? There are plenty of enemies with a 2-3-4 different instances/skillsets, yet they're all on the same page. I propose a merge -- Magamdy 18:55, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- You could always check the talk page for the original for the information. I'm not arguing against a merge, I am saying that someone at some point thought it worth a split. --Rainith (talk) 21:05, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- I see. Well retrospectively I disagree, seeing how there's plenty of examples on the wiki where different instances are on a single page, the most extreme examples Gwen and Thackeray. Can I go ahead and merge or do we need more input? Magamdy 21:08, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'm reaching back in memory here for the SOPs but I think the correct way to do it is to throw the merge tag on both pages and put your reasons for wanting the merge either in the tag itself or on the talk page for one of the fire callers and linking to that talk page from the merge tag. --Rainith (talk) 21:16, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- The "uniqueness" of mobs spawned by Vanguard Quests might have warrented the split. --Falconeye (talk) 02:20, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- Differences are : region, affiliation, level, skills and drops (since vanguard foes drop nothing). Common points are : skin, name (and type, I'm pretty sure standard charr are charr). Are the three common points reason enough to merge ? Vanguard have a lot of features that standard Fire Callers don't have, most notably affiliation (and type). If you can work around this, then you will be able to merge them.--193.48.141.104 09:07, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- Again I'm just gonna throw in another example: White Mantle Knight. In this example, as in the Fire Caller one, good designation of differences works out way better than 6 different articles. So I'll be seeing how I can merge it an propose it. Magamdy 10:49, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- Here is another page of discussions that I think has information pertinent to the proposed merge. --Rainith (talk) 16:04, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- I've updated Charr Fire Caller to show how I'd see this merge happen. Magamdy 17:14, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
