They resemble Pyre's father, Vatlaaw Doomtooth. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.190.52.171 (talk).

...in that they're Charr Rangers? Hardly notable. He most likely just didn't get a unique apearance, which is normal for Prophecies. User A F K When Needed Signature Icon.jpg A F K When Needed 07:48, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Armor Ratings[edit]

Are these correct? Hunters are rangers and rangers generally get +30 vs elemental damage so it seems there should be at least some variance. Kruhljak 08:44, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Many low-level rangers and warriors have their armor "evened out". Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 14:42, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
Hmm. I guess the Hunter's union isn't as strong as the Warrior's union since both flavors of warriors that often accompany these low-level Hunters appear to be getting their usual +20 vs Physical warrior armor bonus (according to their respective pages). Kruhljak 09:17, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
A friend and I tested these and the charr warriors and these DO NOT have +30ar vs elemental for whatever reason. The warriors however DO have +20ar vs physical. Justice (talk) 03:13, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
It could also be down to wonky early Prophecies stuff, where ANet hadn't figured things out. Like the weirdness that is the quest reward weapons... Loggy (talk) 12:54, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
+30 versus elemental would make elemental damage extremely low for low level areas. Remember that attack skill bonus damage is armour-ignoring damage, whereas elemental damage is (almost) always armour-respecting. That would mean Ranger primary monsters are very difficult to kill for lower level Elementalists. The +20 armour against physical damage is mostly for determining how much less damage regular attacks and skill base damage will be. - Infinite - talk 20:11, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
