I got one of these daggers today after a Frostmaw run in NM. They are r10, so I figured I'd keep them to maybe sell them later on. However, after moving them to my storage character, I found that they were not max damage! they are 7-16! This is an item from a Dungeon End Chest, which is supposed to be high end! How the hell can non max weapons be dropping from a chest that you get 2(!) items from in NM because the dungeon is rated as one of the most difficult ones? (2k quest reward) I hope this is a bug... I can live with getting non-max items from monsters, but non max stuff from dungeon end chests is crazy. Zophar 15:51, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm simply quite amazed that it even is a possibility. I mean, it is and end game chest after all. Imagine getting non-max stuff from the HoH chest or from the UW/FoW end chests. That would be quite upsetting as well, wouldn't it? Zophar 18:34, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

They are EXTREMELY rare daggers, so theres probably a lower chance of getting max dmg ones, even from end dungeon chests.

Gotta remember that you were in NM, which means not all drops will be perfect, hence why you get q13 items in HM even.--Kanaela 16:50, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

I don't recall the underworld being in Eye of the north. Plus does it really drop from that chest ? Also a comment above said it also drop from Urgoz's chest. I don't know much about that but the page lacks information--Ruine Eternelle 13:19, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

fixed UW in eotn, late as usual. I think the daggers in urgoz above was just referring to getting non-max daggers in urgoz not demon fangs in urgoz. Screens hot of demon fangs from uw would be nice, or even someone finding a post about them as a drop. None at Talk:Underworld_Chest or Underworld Chest/Research so I am unsure about where that info came from. 72.71.217.171 16:52, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
