Too Long Recharge[edit]

You've ruined another good interrupt ANet. Keep it up! BTW, the only use I see in this is for interrupting Troll Unguent. Bisurge 07:51, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes, because 10 second recharge isn't longer than the best interrupt in the game. Sure, this doesn't have a 20 sec disable, but D-shot isn't AoE interrupt that gives decent amounts of adrenaline and gives AoE order effects.Crimmastermind 06:22, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
Honestly dude, that is a really nice interrupt. Totally screws up Bogroots for me xD

im confused...did they change this skill or something? it looks the same to me as the day that GW went live.--Justice 09:49, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Something to Test[edit]

I don't have the resources to test this, and this is a very hard to meet scenario anyway, but if a D/W or W/D with a scythe uses this skill to interrupt a Me or /Me with Mantra of Resolve AND that Mesmer has adjacent allies, will it trigger the AoE interrupt once for each foe hit by the scythe attack (thus triggering the energy loss of the Mesmer three times) or only trigger once? PowerGamer 04:31, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

I tested this today with some friends. It turns out that this does hit once for each enemy you strike with it. This will interrupt as many as 3 times with the right amount of enemies, and 6 times if one of the foes you strike is dazed. If you attack a foe that's balled up, is dazed, has mantra of resolve on, and has 12 inspiration magic, they lose 24 energy, 60 with 0. Quite interesting in my opinion. That Skill[edit]

Is freaking epic on monks !

Testing[edit]

I used this on the aoe barrels and im only receiving 1e and 1adren. Is the only aoe effect in this skill the interupt? Justice 00:48, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Damage Monitor and skill that do no damage[edit]

Most skills either do damage, or cause a effect, like a hex or a condition, but some, like this, do not, and are therefore not displayed

As this skill basically does 0 damage (a specific amount, like 1, 29, 2018, which in this case happens to make no difference to the targets health) and not NULL, as in, it just isn't there, as indicated by triggering skills that rely on physical damage, shouldn't this skill be displayed? Would at least be a solution for this skill. There might be other skills which do no damage (energy drain does count as damage, does it? If not, Power Drain might not be displayed, too?) and do not apply an effect, but still have an (negative) impact on the target.

I think that is wrong. Every skill impacting (negatively) should be displayed. Conditions at least have their own indicator, and hexes are displayed there, too, so you can figure out what it's doing. Interrupt skills do not have this, they only have the "interrupted" indicator and whatever else they happen to have, like damage, being a hex, etc. Thats why there aren't that many skills behaving like this. Either having a "interrupt skill" indicator, or changing the damage monitor to treat interrupts as 0 damage ("0 damage recieved", like "20 damage recieved", see above) instead of NULL ("no damage recieved"). Aurion, tl,dr. Why do you care about a dead game?
Why do *you* care about a "dead" game then? I care because i think it is not dead. Why do you? Anyways, this isn't related to my "question". Seeing what ANet recently implemented and changed, this would be quite easy and fast to do i believe, and could even prevent it happening in Guild Wars 2, too, if stuff is working similar (having a damage monitor etc.) - Aurion 15:14, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Just ignore Koda, it's only a troll. Morphy 16:49, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
If an int hits, you can tell, and with the mesmer ints there's an animation on your char even if it misses. The attacks are a little odd due to the zero damage for balance issues, but it's easy to tell if a war is using it anyway. --67.240.88.57 17:16, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
Post your suggestion at Feedback:Game suggestions. The developers will see it and other people may weight in on it that way. --Irgendwer 18:45, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

"Skills like Order of Pain trigger when this skill is used" is very a unclear statement. "Like" Order of Pain in what respect?--71.185.41.90 17:25, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
