Tonic?[edit]

anyone confirm on the tonic glitch with halo too? Ganon 08:44, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Confirmed here. Dunno if it applies to just tonics or all disguises, though. I found that my Mysterious tonic form going to human it disappeared, then from human to elf it disappeared again. In order to get it back, had to "Hide" the headgear in inventory, then show it again. Dargus 09:15, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
It's not a bug. It was an unintentional side effect for the Halloween costume with the fiery pumpkin head. Players came up with all kinds of cool combinations using the the fiery effect and tonics. The unintended bonus was decided to be a good thing by ArenaNet and they said they would look at doing similar things in the future. It's not a bug or an anomaly, it's intentional. 114.78.2.18 09:21, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't work on all tonics, example for me it didn't work on the bunny tonic. --MageUser MageMontu sig.pngMontu 17:28, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
Ok it works, I just needed to re-equip it after the usage of the tonic. --MageUser MageMontu sig.pngMontu 17:34, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

The Colour[edit]

I was really excited about the halo until I found out it was urine yellow. Too bad... it looks good otherwise. 114.78.2.18 08:44, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Fortunately, not everyone equates the color with...what you're equating it with...I think these came out great. Arshay Duskbrow 08:45, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
You were expecting it to be what, neon green? --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 09:50, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
You can always decalibrate your monitor for psychedelic effects. Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 10:10, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
If your urine is that color yellow you need to see a doctor. User DrogoBoffin sig icon.png Drogo Boffin 11:41, 1 January 2011 (UTC)
Use the elf tonic and then re-wear this, Hoop-teh-elf! ;D --NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 12:01, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

TF2[edit]

Mini Halocaust? - 184.151.127.211 13:47, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Wtf? This is one of the most iconic images in western history. There is no way it relates to TF2. 76.250.38.1 01:13, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
A while back, TF2 gave Halos to all players who hadn't circumvented the item system using an external program. This created a massive divide in the community between those players who wore this so-called "Cheater's Lament" Halo, and those who saw their actions as legal and didn't like being branded as cheaters by Halo-lessness. To this day, this event is called the Halocaust. -Ellisthion/talk 02:07, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes, that must have been their intent, and that's why everyone can get one. --97.81.150.199 17:15, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

interesting bug[edit]

Try dropping the halo on the ground in an explorable area 66.170.212.17 15:45, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Someone needs to put the bug where it creates a glowing cube if you drop the halo. R U Who U Want To B 19:43, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

Inscribed Chakram (metal)?[edit]

Looks like a yellow, floating Inscribed Chakram (metal). Just my opinion. Power WMElementalist-tango-icon-200.png 20:42, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

You mean this circular object looks similar to another circular object?--99.225.28.182 05:29, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Fable[edit]

Okay know this is odd, but fable 2 pure and good protag... low gamma so the halo is in focus... = THIS... well almost but still pretty sweetAmpkingomega 21:28, 1 January 2011 (UTC)

You get a halo in both Fable 1 and Fable 2 for being purely good. I doubt this has anything to do with a halo being in GW. ♥ Tyloric ♣ 05:45, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Another bug?[edit]

I left my character afk all night with the halo on. When I returned the halo was unseen until I reequiped it. I think that if you wear it too much time without changing of place the halo disappear, need confirmation. Lokheit 14:05, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

It hapened again,, I wasn't afk, just conected too much time but playin, the halo disappeared again. Lokheit 17:11, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
Weird I've only had these with the Demonic Horns --Dragon7 cape emblem.pngThe Holy Dragons 17:13, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
I think I've discovered what happened. It seems to happen when you use a tonic, you have to equip it again to show it, and once the effect pass, if you haven't equiped it, you have to put it again if you want to see it. Lokheit 17:52, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

Polygon "bug"[edit]

I feel like the polygon bug should be removed as this is the case with all objects in the game world. If you zoom out to a certain distance, at a certain angle, you will see a change in what is being displayed. It's not a bug; it's to improve frame rate. If it's not what I'm describing, I suggest someone posts an image of the bug, --97.81.150.199 17:18, 2 January 2011 (UTC)

well, that is true. but people might wonder about it, then be like "ohgodabugbetternotenotenote", ill re-write the bug section to make it clearer.----NeilUser Neil2250 sig icon6.png 17:23, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
it is a bug, because on my computer at full specs only half of the halo is missing polygons, making mine look like a slice of pizza. It makes the halo very undesirable to equipped. and it also isn't the distance that the polygons should be dropping that much. For me it was happening when my Avatar's feet just being seen above the skill bar. Which is where allot of people keep their camera at.--Yozuk 20:52, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
It's just the model's LODs. It's not a bug.
