Does this deserves to be an elite anyway? --Cursed angel 19:58, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

As it is now? No. They could make it more like Extend Enchantments though. Make this a hex that prevents removal of conditions, but removes all conditions from the foe when it ends. But, why would they make this worth using? 71.179.85.164 07:06, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Shudn't this be a hex?84.27.170.207 17:50, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

No. You cast this on a foe and all conditions currently on that foe last x% longer to a maximum of 30 seconds. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 18:15, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

currently it doesnt work with disease (tested with rotting flesh, expired at the same time on all targets within 10 seconds)--59.167.110.164 00:07, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

It should extend the conditions on target, not just foes in the area with him...Bive

Extending the Extended[edit]

Does anyone know if you extend an extended condition? Also, does anyone know if the Disease bug still applies? This is pretty much a crap elite so I don't picture the bugs with it being a high priority, but still...If you could use it to extend an already extended set of conditions, it would be pretty sweet (as in, apply dazed, extend, then apply poison, extend both, then apply bleeding, extend all three...etc).--Louai 23:45, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Does it trigger fragility?[edit]

anyone knows?--79.2.68.178 13:22, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

needs hypochondriac and still doubt it. hypo will take conditions from target's allies (your foes) in the area and put them on your target that you then use extend conditions to spread them back and lengthen. idk actually go test it...thats what pvp characters are for. to make characters that can set up as anything then use the isle of masters for testing. (or go pvp more freely)75.105.242.115 16:36, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

OMGWTFBBQ[edit]

amirite? --68.111.76.179 10:46, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Glyph of Immolation plus this equals spreading 8 second fire everywhere! 68.105.159.62 21:45, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Scratch that. Under the best possible circumstances, only 7 seconds is possible. 68.105.159.62 21:55, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
If it works as well as I think it does, use it to keep any condition lasting longer than 5 seconds on their team forever with the right attributes. 69.40.251.148 21:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
The extend mesmer has to be a staple with Ranger teams, consider AOE daze or Burning and everything.
Exactly, this skills is overlooked cause of they're thinking of only For the mesmer, not for Teams, a Sway group would be enchanced by this. a single ranger or dervish, or even sin could make a lot of presure combined with this Skill. Even one RC monk would be in pressure. Considering most of Condition inflicting Skills recharge fast, this can be quiet powerfull if used correctly. Yup....Sharingaun dervish 23:59, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Or if it worked correctly. =\ 66.202.1.169 13:57, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Actually, 9 secs of burning is possible with Glyph of Immolation on fire magic 18 (16 + 2 from Glyph of elemental power) and 12 Inspiration magic (81% = 4,05 secs) makes 5 + 4,05 = 9 seconds of burning. Though, on your target the burning will only last 5 seconds, because it will not be lengtened by EC.217.121.213.138 17:49, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Too bad you can't use multiple glyphs. PowerGamer 22:03, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah theres a hex called MoR sillies...and its in fire magic lol--Justice 07:31, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

This skill is garbage now, I'd rather just take Epidemic to save my elite or Fevered Dreams for daze. <>Sparky, the Tainted 03:09, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

You mad? This skill can keep permanent/30 sec burning on 2 foes next to eachother. ---Chaos- 11:41, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Who's gonna stand like that? This is total waste. At least this had some niche uses before. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (τѧιк) 01:57, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Concise description[edit]

"... Those durations of those conditions is increased by..." looks somewhat odd, is it a wiki mistake or in-game mistake? i just can't check GW atm --Soulforged 13:43, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

That is indeed what the concise description says in game. It really should read "... the durations of those conditions is increased by..." Meh, not a big deal they'll fix it eventually. Xlegna 03:56, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Funny how the only change made when concising the description for this skill was to make an error. Paddymew 13:35, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Max 30 seconds[edit]

Does this mean the conditions are raised by 30 seconds max, or the duration of those conditions can't go over 30 seconds? --Hullu 20:11, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

It would indicate that they're raised by 30s max, but I suspect that it might be wrong too. ---Chaos- (talk) -- 00:10, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
From my understanding, the conditions are raised by 5-100% of their remaining duration, but get truncated to 30 sec if the result would be longer.--78.50.17.185 15:06, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

EC?[edit]

When typing in EC only Enraging Charge comes up, shouldn't EC be a disambiguation page? Eive Windgrace 23:27, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
