Trivia[edit]

Might be a reference to the book "Feast of Souls" by Celia Friedman?

Bug[edit]

Best bug, EVER. 68.193.113.198

I've asked some people and they could not reproduce this bug. Can anyone confirm how the bug actually works? Maybe it was fixed but not documented?

Usage[edit]

Does anyone actually use this skill?

remember to sign. This skill is very powerful actually, so yes, people DO use it as it can heal for 300 in a 1/4 of a sec. 87.61.124.2 05:11, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
I have two builds that revolves around its useage... one that party heals (so long as names are not grey) for 300+ every 7-8 secs and one that does 500ish every 10... of corse this heal spike can be held off until your party needs it... the only bad part is parties that have members taking over 300 or 500 before the recharge (which can happen... but a Rt doing this takes a big strain off party monks) MrPaladin talk 12:33, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
If you're using Signet of Spirits (especially in conjunction with mantra of inscriptions), then this spell can provide imba levels of party wide healling (300 partywide healling every 10-15 seconds, makes Life or Protective Was Kaolai look rather poor.) --94.76.168.211 02:25, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Ummm... "imba levels of party wide healing..." Are you confusing armor with heals, or did you come up with an SY healer? Pucktrapper 15:33, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
Imba means Imbalanced, and doesn't only refer to SY. --97.83.178.170 03:47, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
The problem with the skill is that it's rather costly; it requires a minimum of investment of 25-30 energy to be useful and kills off your spirits, leaving multiple skill slots useless for a considerable amount of time. Aside from that, it requires that they all be close together, which just begs for someone to hit them with AoE. If spirits were cheaper, recharged faster and were less vulnerable to wide-range spells, this skill would probably be more widely used.
It's quite nice in PvE, though. –Jette 02:30, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Does this heal minions?184.60.24.160 20:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
No, this only heals characters in your party. Minions are in a separate minion party. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 20:22, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
No, I think what you meant was that minions are "allies." Pucktrapper 15:33, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
This skill works well in a Soul Twisting build, as you can spike heal when you are able to recast your spirits. Pucktrapper 15:33, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
No, what I meant was that minions are in their own party (i.e., not yours). Minions are not necessarily allies. –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 04:13, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Does this have a limit on the range? Also why isn't this used more? Compare with something like Heaven's Delight or Heal Party: Heals for more, even with only one spirit, casts faster, costs less than the latter and recharges faster. OK HP is not really used now because of the long recharge, but when it was 2s it was a staple. This obviously can't be used so much, and eats spirits, but Life is the only real one people use anyway. 2.24.247.95 21:53, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Heros won't cast spell[edit]

When using this spell on a hero be sure to micro it, because your hero won't cast this on it's own. The test i've done consist of placing 0,1 ,4 and 8 spirits, in a party size of 8 or 2 and by either getting bursted down by Hard mode elementalists or slowly get withered down by low level mobs without any other healing in my party. However in none of these cases my ritualist hero decided to cast this spell. --88.159.188.137 11:24, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

Would have been helpful if you had at least shared the build's template code. We can't trust an incomplete claim.
