- Are the Ruby and Sapphire drops in HM only? --Ravencroft0 08:47, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
- Yes.Normaly all Creatures can Drop Sapphire and Ruby in HM,(Not all, i think)--Neil2250 , Render Lord 20:03, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Not even 10% of enemies can drop rubies or sapphires. Manifold 20:06, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- Though discussion is rather old: Every creature which drops any rare crafting material may drop rubies or sapphires
in HMin both modi. --aRTy 11:27, 24 August 2010 (UTC)- Your information is old. Lindsey has confirmed that it is not the case. Manifold 16:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry to bump it again that late, but I am rarely around here and missed your answer. I guess you are talking about this discussion. Lindsey confirmed it's not any creature, but nothing more specific. You postet about cloth in that disc and probably missed the theorys point: It says rare material, not any material. At least it explaines drops of rubies and sapphires by: Most creatures in UW and FoW (Ectos/Shards), imps and several elementals (Lump of Charcoal), Wardens (Fur Square), Mantids (Monstrous Stuff) and so on. --aRTy 06:29, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Corsairs, Luxons, Kurzicks, Kournans, Kappas, Afflicted, and many more drop rare materials, but none have ever been observed to drop rubies or sapphires. Those are some big groups that everyone kills quite a few of going through the game. Manifold 14:45, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Request for Research it. — Raine Valen 14:50, 23 Sep 2010 (UTC)
- Saphires definitely drop in NM too. I just got one killing those things with rit solo while I was walking to D'Alessio Seabord. Have screen for proof if u want me to upload it. Magnum 17:24, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Bug[edit]
Fire Imp can gain experience and level up when dead.--108.30.244.40 19:52, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- The levelling up is noted on Fire Imp (summon). The mechanics of levelling up when dead are common to pets, so not sure that's a bug. Loggy (talk) 20:12, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
