Super easy area to VQ[edit]
It can't be any easier. Seriously, only 106 foes and it took 10 minutes. Just be careful to pull the charr groups at the summit. Did it with discordway. --98.95.69.88 01:15, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- 102foes, 34min, 3heros, vanq/mapping. I was surprised at how easy it was. Most mobs are 2-3 charr with the worst being like 4-5. Plenty of room for pulling without accidental over-aggro and I dont think 90% of the foes twitch even untill aggroed. There are alot of Flame Charr and enough Shamans (along with a few chaots/ashens) to warrant a daze skill but it isnt necessary. Dont be affraid of vanqing this with just 3 heros, not worth the run from yaks (6man). Infact you could probably vanq this with henchmen lol. Justice 02:13, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Bosses in HM[edit]
I just vanquished the area. I don't have the titan quest and a NF character. The bosses didn't spawn nor the group of ascalon soldiers. =/ --

- For me also no boss did spawn on HM. I used a Prophecies char and don't had the Titan quest. Autositz 05:08, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- I also didn't encounter any bosses here during my vanquish. Suggest removing the part about bosses appearing on Hard Mode? Andran Steel 12:38, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Portals[edit]
Anyone notice the 3 portal like entry/exits in the northwest corner of this map? Also found the flame temple itself in the north east, and the altar just beyond that at Dragon's Gullet entrance. It's ruddy mysterious! Puk 11:02, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, I think Anet planned to add 3 endgame zones here, akin to Sorrow's Furnace. Maybe it was supposed to be some kind of "raid" with 3 wings/levels for the 3 portals.--DefinitelyNotHanz (talk) 15:42, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
For those who like PAIN[edit]
The Titan quests will give you 115 foes to vanquish here, including one of the bosses from the Titan Quest entry. I didn't see any Ascalon soldiers - maybe they ran screaming before I got here :P
