These seem to drop from everything, additional to ordinary drops, like the candy cane shards, etc... Of course they are much more useful :). --Indecision 15:35, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Yes, any monster can drop this... found one in The Frost Gate - MSorglos 16:17, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Ya, I've found a few off random monsters but I don't think the drop rate is quite as generous as that of a candy cane shard. Unless i'm just unlucky ;) Kaya-sig.png kaya 16:21, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
I got the four-leaf clover immediately followed by a shamrock ale drop from Ettins around Nebo Terrace had killed quite a lot before that happened though. I don't think the drop rate is as high as candy cane shards either. Vladtheemailer 17:06, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Certainly they are not as common as ccs, but from my experience they are more common than the Shamrock Ales. --Indecision 20:23, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Agreed, they seem more common than the ale. Since everything drops them, I've been farming a low-level area full of enemies. One run I'd say is about 13-18 enemies, and nets me usually one or two clovers. I only encounter an ale about every two runs. File:Esig2.jpg Eldin 17:47, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Has anyone seen these drop in UW or FoW at any time other than St. Pattys weekend? KJZ 22:27, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Both four-leaf clovers and Shamrock Ale are special event items, therefore they will only drop on the Lucky weekend's.

Lucky[edit]

If you don't get the 15% - do you get 4 points towards the unlucky title? — ( ɔ \ ʇ ) uɐɥʇıǝɹ Reithan Sig.jpg 19:22, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

No. Vezz 17:04, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
Since the weekend began, I've gotten 5 clovers, and 15 ales. I think the rate at which they drop is random. --ChristopherRodrigues 01:09, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
The first time I logged on this weekend I got 4 clovers in about 5 mins of playing before I got an ale. Then another time I played for about 3 hours and got about 2 clovers and 3 ales. I have 'farmed' 2 spots. 1st right outside Ascalon with the Hulking Stone Eles and Grawls and the 2nd outside of Kamaden. I seem to get at least twice as many of both to drop from the Eles and Grawls. Don't know why. One of the Grawl bosses even dropped 1 of each plus something else. So it is very random. That was also the run I got 5 dyes so go figure.Chris 98.209.30.104 11:15, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
The special event items have a certain drop rate, but it's not like "every third mob you kill". The thing about having different drop rates could also suggest why Raptor Nestlings carry such large amounts of beer with them O_o... Paddymew 05:56, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Pre Searing?[edit]

Anyone know if four leaf clovers or shamrock ale drop in pre searing? User FirstSunspear icon.png FirstSunspear /// Talk 21:07, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

As far as I know yes. However clovers are useless there as there is no DP --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 21:35, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but with the shamrock ales in pre, it would make the drunkard title much easier to achieve before leaving :D User FirstSunspear icon.png FirstSunspear /// Talk 21:34, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Clovers wont (seriously) help you for your luck title[edit]

I think I ll farm a stack of those during the luck weekend which is coming soon. This item gives points for the lucky title, but very few in fact ... You have 1 chance on 11 (if we consider that every death penality bonus are equal in chances) to get the 4 luck points. So a four-Leaf clover stack gives less than 50 luck points ((250/11)*4) !! 50 pts is 0,1% of rank 1 ! More than a thousand of stacks is needed to get from R0 to R1 ! This item isnt useful for the lucky title :/ It is just a tease !! A stack should gives between 500 and 5000 luck points. --Donahu 13:42, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Luck Points[edit]

I really think these should act like the Golden Eggs do for the Treasure Hunter track, (i.e. Find one Four Leaf Clover, get one point in the Lucky track) It would better suit the common folklore of finding a four leaf clover as lucky. It is also not nearly too many points, (farming an entire stack would be the same as retaining one lockpick) but would still seem like something is happening. You could even make it 5 points, (again, only 5 retained lockpicks to equal an entire stack.)Grikitis 04:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

That's the best idea I've heard here for a long time. Where are the devs? Foo 15:07, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Over on their user pages? --Arduinna talk 15:27, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

You have to have DP?[edit]

It would appear the clover will no be usable if you have no DP, even if your H/H do. Hvordan 03:35, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

They remove DP from H&H even if you don't. Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 02:35, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Price[edit]

Any ideas what these might sell for? 22:39, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
