Vanquisher title

I got 123 with A Thorn in Varesh's Side. To make this quest easier in Hard Mode, get a tank, ball them up, cast Grasping Earth, and then nuke them. It only took a few seconds to kill them balled up. I used Perma Tank and it worked fine. --65.0.109.30 00:50, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

124 foes, 27min, vanq/maping. The skale and heket oome in small easy to deal with mobs. Some of the kournan mobs are quite large and may have 2 priest. The priest have fast activating skills so interupts are less useful. KD/spiking and presuring other party members of theirs works. Be careful of the scribes as they use meteor and if they catch enough of your healers the melee can do serious dmg in those few seconds of vulnerability. Justice 23:01, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

I just tried to vanquish this but it glitched. There was a Kournan Oppressor inside the fortress where we could not get to him.

Murals of the Gods

Since the Moon Fortress of Gandara was so important to Varesh Ossa, she put murals of the sixe Gods in it, including Abaddon. Cartographing the Area South of the Prison

I can't seem to uncover the area directly south of the prison. I've gone up on the second level of the prison, into all the cells & the island to the east as far as I can, but still no luck...anyone have an idea on how I can do this area?? Thank you!

A little late, but this answers your question. (just got 100.0% by clearing this area). You have to beat the missions Pogahn Passage (sp?) and make sure you are the party leader, and that you view the ending cinematic completely. after you leave mission, check map and it'll be cleared. Origin of Name

Cartography

I don't have A Thorn in Varesh's Side, but all of its spawns (or what I assume are its spawns) are there. Ive gotten 7 groups so far, one of which has 14 Kournan militia. –alistic 23:51, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

VQed with 62 enemies

Same thing happened to me with 67 enemies. I have never vanquished this area before so I'm guessing that the other 60 or so enemies WITHOUT quests was because you had access to the fortress itself, just a guess. Me And My Sin

Kournan Bounty!

Ok so I don't know how to update wiki, but if someone that knows how would add you can now get a Kournan Bounty it be appreciated. It's the first shrine you get to. Found out on 12/20/2011

All of my characters have completed Poghan passage/Nightfall and cannot get bounties in Normal mode - I'm finding this is the skale bounty in hard mode. I have not completed "A Thorn in Varesh's Side", but I did have it active to check if it made a difference to the shrine npcs - which it did not. More data is required on a Kournan Bounty here. Yep try in HM - should be same bounty both modes.

Bug

I think it might have to do with the quest A Thorn in Varesh's Side. If you had not completed it yet before you started the vanquish, that would explain the high mob count you found.
