Elviondale, you are right - the only reason why I added "Cold damage" there was because I didn't know what to do, and leaving that space empty would look ugly : P Checking the other pages, I have seen people just using "unknown" there, so I'll make the change right now. Do Anet make fun of us?

Vigorous Spirit, Healing Hands, Conjure Frost, a wholse host of Dervish skills... there's quite a few things you can do with this sword if you just have the imagination to think of them. Would I like to have a version of this weapon I can modify? Most certainly. Am I going to complain, moan and threaten Anet if it doesn't happen? I didn't see any threat. I think it's important for us to give a feedback of what WE think about the game. Maybe someone in anet will read and say "oh well, maybe he's right, it's stupid to make a useless weapon a bonus, let's make it usable to all class and builds, not just one, and a noob one too". Or maybe someone read it and said "another whiner, we are teh best game out there we no need your advices. ownd!". For me, it's the same, it's just a game, but i'm happy to share my toughts anyway.

Much as I'd like to be able to set this up with my own mods, there is simply no way that Anet will do it. If they did, the price of rare swords would tank. No preorder weapon has ever had the 'optimum' stats for its class - Assassin (Poisonous mod.. blah.. and +1/20%), Ritualist (HCT10% global, a 20% Communing or another HSR would have been better), Dervish (cold damage) and Paragon (Fiery head) have all had something that means it is still worth your while buying rare weapons, and therefore the prices of those rare weapons do not collapse. You mean, collapse like after the introduction of an hard more? The only rare weapons now are the hall of heroes only like runic blade, all the rest is merchant thres.

the dude who started to whine about this sword should think before he starts complaining, take a good hard look at the sword, what does it look like? ice! indeed, thus it would only be LOGICAL for it to do cold damage, why you think they fixed the prefix on the dragon swords? indeed, so you wont have a lightning dragon sword or something, or an ebon dragon sword, no use in having a sword that looks like its made out of ice and have it do fire damage. seriously, think before you judge. Im normally not a troll but... anet... i saw this woderful looking blade in presearing on the account ive had since just after the release of the game. and i have to say... i think its very unfair that only the newbs to the game and people buying second or third accounts are allowed to use this FANTASTIC looking weapon. plus it goes wonderfully with the bonus sheild IMO. specially on the secondary pre armor. please anet I BEG OF THE!!!! make SOMETHING drop these. preferably inscriptable. SOMETHING needs to knock the Volty Spear down a couple noches anyway. and i REALLY want one for my warrior. (that have had for three years and REFUSE to stop playing in favor of a new toon) please anet please... PLEASE!! make something drop??? prty plz??? FoW chest? UW chest? Zchest? ANYTHING! Little late, but have to say this anyway: Anet shouldnt ever give out perfect items via /bonus! What fun would it be, when you get your best stuff by bying instead of playing? Actually that statement is wrong because the Sundering Darksteel Longbow is in fact dyeable along with the hourglass staff.

Cannot be put in Storge?

Equip it, then put some other weapon into your storage. Then equip that weapon by double clicking on it. BAM, the bonus item is in storage. Now you can type /bonus again to get another copy and equip all your heroes :P Seariously though, is this a bug? If not why does it say that it cannot be put in storage? Generally the easiest way to keep making the bonus items for each of your heros is just to attach the first item you make to your hero then when you type /bonus it will not recognize that you have it and this will allow you to create a new copy for you to use or another hero to use. Not sure about getting it into storage thing. Pimpologist 16:26, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

I just tried, and ALL of my GOTY and EOTN Preorder items can be put into storage, and taken out with another character from the storage. Obv, they'd have to spawn their own customized copy to use, but these CAN be stored in storage. Maybe this was changed a while ago, but this is the case now and as far as I can remember, actually. Pre-Searing

Using this sword and the Serrated Shield makes for a great pairing in Pre-searing. Giving you 2 max items if you meet the Swordsmanship and Tactics Requirements. This can be done at lvl 13 with a runes in each attribute. SabreWolf 23:34, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Art Glitch - Hand / Grip Misalignment

This sword is gorgeous. Although, I have a niggle that is driving me nuts... the place the sword is held just isn't right!

Looking at a female warrior, the sword needs to drop down a bit and forward a bit just to pull the guard out of her hand, and likewise set the grip into her palm.

I know this is a small thing in the grand scheme of things but please, could an artist fix it? That would make my day :) - Cirian.--79.87.31.223 03:24, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I purchased 3 at Target for around 4 dollars, they had them in a clearance isle about a year ago. Maybe with a little luck you can still find them, Id try places like Toys R Us, Target, Wal-mart or any place with a barging bin/clearance isle. 69.129.199.244 21:06, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Hand going over the hilt

I'm not too familiar with sword terminoligy, but does anyone else find it funny that the hand is overlapping that steel bar that goes infront of the handle, which I assume is there to protect the wielder's hand from other swords? Atomisk 21:46, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
