Bogus[edit]

"[EDIT:The spell which is cast instantly does not appear to charge Echo or Arcane Echo]" That makes no sense, because if you cast ECHO or ARCANE ECHO before the Glyph, one of two things will happen:

A) Cast ECHO first, and the GLYPH will be Echoed.
B) Cast Arcane Echo first, and it will wear off because glyphs are "non-spell skills."

If you cast either ECHO or ARCANE ECHO after using the Glyph, the spell will cast instantly, and the Glyph will wear off. Thus, the note was written by someone who didn't test it, and I suggest it removed. --ChristopherRodrigues 19:04, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. I have removed the note, as both skills obviously dont synergize with the skill. I will add the note that using it on an echo'd copy will bypass the side effect, since that may have been what he was referring to? --Angelic Loki 14:12, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Synergy With...[edit]

Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom, possibly? With a maxed Vanguard title you would have a 60% chance to half the recharge time of your spell, meaning that you would only have an extra 15 seconds of recharge for a faster activation time (that is, if Glyph of Sacrifice if affected by Battle Standard of Wisdom). Scenario: You cast Glyph of Sacrifice, followed by Meteor Shower. You recieve the effect of Battle Standard of Wisdom. This means that you can cast Meteor Shower in under two seconds and it will recharge for 45 seconds. Faster cast time and faster recharge time. Voila. - Ara ~ A R A ~ 23:01, 20 May 2009 (UTC) I hate to be brusque, but try taking the time to read the NAME of the skill - its a glyph, not a spell. hence EBSoW is a waste of time. Thanks for the rather blunt reply there, pal, but I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I actually meant that Glyph of Sacrifice and Ebon Battle Standard Of Wisdom would both affect a third spell, not that GoS or Standard of Wisdom would affect each other. My idea here was that Standard of Wisdom would make the longer recharge of Glyph of Sacrifice sting a bit less than your rude comment. I don't believe that you "...hate to be brusque...". ~ A R A ~ 03:12, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Interrupted[edit]

What happens to a spell affected by Glyph of Sacrifice if it is interrupted? Does the glyph end? Does the spell still get the extra recharge? I would test it, but my guild (and my alliance) have become fairly innactive. If you want to test it, but can't quarterlock, I can give you a build for it. <>Sparky, the Tainted 14:22, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Note[edit]

How exactly can this be combined with an Echo spell? Won't Echo/Arcane just be affected by the glyph?

Echo->Spell->GoS->Echo(spell), I believe -/-Am I late to the party or something? I didn't see a time stamp-/- Discuss 19:11, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
