Gwen Dialogue?[edit]
I don't have purchased GW:EN until yet, but did somebody try what happens if you equip this to gwen? Zerpha The Improver 21:45, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
It can only go in off-hand (shield/focus slot). If I leave that as the only item equipped, no weapon, she says upon entering a explorable area "I am not wielding a weapon. Open your Inventory (I) and hand me a weapon if you want me to be able to attack." 69.183.250.221 10:02, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Dropping?[edit]
Are these dropping again? I recall for a while they seemed to have disappeared, so I held onto the ones I had. Miss Innocent 09:02, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think it drops. It appears on the ground in a random location everytime you zone into Old Ascalon, somewhere within the former Ashford Village area. 71.200.140.35 16:26, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
Focus?[edit]
The flute is not tied to an attribute and gives no bonuses. Therefore, it is not a focus. Just because you can equip it in the off hand does not make it a focus. If you disagree, then why isn't a shield a focus? Or why isn't Gwen's Broken Flute a shield? 71.200.140.35 16:32, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

- It's either a shield or a focus, as those are the two types of offhand items that exist. And focus seems likely as that's what all other flute items are. Backsword 10:10, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
Which Flute?[edit]
Is there any indication if this is specifically the flute that is already broken in pre, as opposed to the flute you gave Gwen which might have then been lost and broken? Does she still have the new one? --Star Weaver 18:03, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

Confusing[edit]
If you read the description, it infers that this item is the target of a quest. It is found in Post Searing and yet the target quest is in Pre Searing. So it actually appears that there is NO quest that it is tied to in Post Searing - this should be specified as the page is misleading - emesis 121.221.2.92 06:06, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
