i get the felling that 1 needs a bit more info here, i've tried the prescribed route and everything but i cant shoot the pillar down --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:90.187.117.212 (talk).

As already noted in the notes section, you have to use Junundu Smash. To use Junundu Smash, you have to be inside the wurm and you need to build up your adrenaline. You usually have to go past the pillar and take out the nearby Awakened to rebuild your adrenaline because there are no enemies in that gap. The pillar in question is not hard to find but you might be trying to smash the wrong pillar. It's on the southern side of that stretch of sulfur (towards the western end) and it's leaning slightly outwards. Just use the skill right next to the pillar. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 14:01, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Even if you use the Junundu Smash right next to the pillar, it doesn't always fall over, requiring a restart of the entire area if you're vanquishing and already killed everything else.-thejynxed- 05:14, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Who in the name of God thought this was a good idea[edit]

First of all, the placing of quests in this manner is dubious. To start with, he's really far from everything, and no one is gonna find him and his quests unless they see them on a wiki (or are vanquishing). Now then, when they're setting out to do the quests, they have to check the wiki again, because they can't fucking figure out how you get to this guy. So far, so good (!?). The first quest is alright, YET another trip to the Margonite Temple, whoop-dee-doo. Carry something back. I loathe carry-quests. It's 2012, no one plays with other players, and martial classes are stuck carrying, not fighting. Anyways, you get back, and the second quest is an escort quest, in which this squishy little shits death makes you fail the quest, FORCING YOU TO REZONE AND DO THE WHOLE THING ONCE MORE. Which sadistic prick worked this one out? Rudi 00:37, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

Creative bankruptcy, that's what this is. By the time they came to this third chapter they ran out of ideas. This is just tedious and not fun.
What is worse, you cannot build Adrenaline fast enough if you have a full team of Heroes; if the Smash was an Energy-consuming skill, it'd have been simpler. If you defeat that one group and don't get this, you have to start over. Unbelievable.50.89.105.61 01:00, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
