So...can you fail the quest? Cuz the courier made it to the ship and all, but we just went and killed him and got quest update (Usaf1a8xx 02:06, 13 July 2011 (UTC))

I don't think so. Sadly. I'd rather have fewer enemies and having to actually kill the guy. Unfortunately, he "must" go through all his taunts. Konig/talk 02:08, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
I wish that, in the spirit of things to come in GW2, they would have made it where if you didn't catch him in time, then it spawned another minor quest chain to undo the failure to stop him, so eventually you could get back around to having to try to stop him again. Speed boost (if on hero make party boost) + YMLAD + Deep freeze (can be on hero) + 3 RoJ monks = done. 18:50, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Shadow steps = done. Seems to bypass the trigger point for him running on so he just stands there like a lemon while you nuke him. Updated the Walkthrough section in the article, feel free to revert if you feel it's not necessary. Certainly made it easy though. - Bramblefeet 01:29, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
You don't actually need all party members to have a shadow step. Just have an assassin or some other DPS step in and then go wild. (forgot to sign) 76.88.127.158 18:50, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Dwarven Stability + Fall Back + Ebon Assassin + YMLAD + Shadow Step = Easy win[edit]

Literally, if you equip Dwarven Stability, then use Dash while you are under the effects of "Fall Back!" (from hero), you can catch up with the Courier before he even starts. Then, to counter him and snare him even longer, use Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support, and Shadow Step to the courier. Bodyblock him and your team does the rest. For even easier conveniance, add a cold damage ele (as stated in one of the other options on the page). All the options really are made to get the courrier after he made his first run, but you can clear this quest under a minute with just this technique, without even triggering the first group of Am Fah. I will add a video soon when it's done (and yes I know it's been so many years since, but it's still interesting to discover this). --Jorre22225 (talk) 15:24, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
