Move. He's more important than one of his quests. Backsword 14:01, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Son of a Yakslapper?[edit]

In Fronis Irontoe's dunguon, Fronis Irontoe says "Kilroy Stonekin, ya son of a Yakslapper! I don't know how you made it this far, but I'm happy to be the one to bury you." . And the other Stone Summit in his dunguon say " I still owe him money!" leading me to beleave this: Kilroy is the Son of Wroth Yakslapper and was once a Stone Summit but quit.--Treesbyty 16:11, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't think so, first of all it would have been "Son of Yakslapper!" and not "Son of a Yakslapper!" second they are insulting him, so y call him the son of his father? --MageMontu 13:03, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
yea son of a yakslapper could be a reference to son of a b*tch--Ridz16 10:57, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Yak is that beast found in the Shiverpeaks, and you know what "slapper" means. So he means that Kilroy is a child of an animal abuser.

I doubt that it has anything to do with animal abuse. "slapping a yak" probably seems a normal thing to a Stone Smmit. Just look at their "Beast Masters". Weaponmaster 02:15, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Actually it's means more like in the like "you son of a goat/pig herder", it's a common ancient insult, refering to smell, poor social status, education and having fleas. Cake and Waffles
I'm pretty sure Ridz was right... Spotina Talk 14:42, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

OMFG[edit]

GIVE THIS MAN SOME DECENT AI. Please! He is the worst possible partner imaginable in the Fronis dungeon! Maybe anet did this on purpose to make him like leroy jenkins, but it is SO annoying! He attacks foes at random, randomly stops fighting and runs around in circles, doesn't attack called targets, moves without you doing anything, and doesn't get healed when enemies die. He keeps getting me killed by being so retarded! He needs to have the AI that heroes use to make him less of a nuisance. He isn't even a good meat shield, as it is now. |NalanaUser Nalana Darkling santa.jpgDarkling| 13:31, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Well he is a drunken dwarf with no sense of strategy. I'd say bad AI fits. And theres a glitch that allows you to get through the fronis dungeon all the way to the last two enemies withought fighting more than six people. so don't worry.--70.71.240.170 05:01, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

I've since gotten that survivor title, but yeah bad AI does make sense. It was still ridiculously annoying, tho. And why would you want to only kill 6 people? This dungeon is basically an exp/lockpick farm...that would make it a moot point. |NalanaUser Nalana Darkling santa.jpgDarkling| 14:29, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Once you've gotten used to it, you can run next to him without dying. Spotina Talk 14:40, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
IMO, Kilroy's behavior is not a flaw, it's by design. I just bear with him, the poor guy is on auto pilot. :P 193.215.199.34 12:12, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Reference[edit]

Geez, Kilroy is the stereotypical dwarf, right? This doesn't mean he's referencing someone else! If there was a character who was the stereotypical "Lawful Stupid Paladin," it does not automatically mean they're "referencing" another stereotypical paladin from another game. 204.73.49.179 17:21, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Assuming your talking about the Leeroy Jenkins reference, have you ever seen the video? C4K3 User C4K3 Signature.jpg Talk 17:34, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
Even for WoW,it was quite a funny moment. He shouts and runs into the enemys >_< --Neil2250 User Neil2250 sig icon5.jpg 19:26, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
"At least I have chicken." 24.34.216.50 00:07, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
The Kilroy name may also be a reference to a phrase popular during WWI - WWII timeframe, mostly in one of the shipyards if I remember correctly. "Kilroy was here." with a face drawn as if hanging over the edge of a wall. This was supposedly drawn by one of the shipyard workers in locations he or she had been. 69.183.22.23 01:37, 22 April 2011 (UTC)

I would like to know if there's some official statement somewhere that Kilroy is based on Leeroy. Everyone knows it, but Wikipedia won't let people put the reference on the 'Leeroy Jenkins' page with just common knowledge. They need documentation. Legionaireb 06:07, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

Stand-up macro[edit]

Would it be against the code of conduct to make a macro that presses 8 tons of times so that you can stand up easier? I suspect it is, thus I wanted to ask before I actually tried. Thanks in advance :) 84.49.104.146 13:30, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Yep, macroing anything is against the rules. -- Hong 13:33, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Voices...[edit]

In the French localisation, he appears to have two different voice actors. His voice when you talk to him in Gunnar's Hold is not the same as when you talk to him in Fronis Irontoe's Lair. (Possibly the FIL one is for him, while the GH one is a generic dwarf or something like that.) Cynique 12:58, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
