Multiple Quests[edit]

If two players each have a quest that changes the spawns of a region; for example, if one player has Blazefiend Griefbane and the other has Footman Tate, the spawns from BOTH quests will be present in the instance. Their levels will reflect the equivalent tier for the lowest level player. I tested this by using my level 20 Ranger with Footman Tate, and my level 16 Elementalist with Charr; left my ranger at the gate to act as a monkey, while the Elementalist killed everything and earned a buttload of experience. Some of the spawns overlap, but don't attack one another. This is probably a worthy mention (the multiple quests affecting spawns simultaneously). --Kristofferus 05:15, 27 March 2012 (UTC)

List quests[edit]

Can the list of quests she offers (maybe in alphabetical or in the order they come or whatever) be listed on this page? Whenever somebody links to Vanguard Quests, it links to this page, which doesn't list the quests that I was trying to access. Blue Totoro 05:02, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

I agree - the linked langmar cycles page has a bunch of values for a year ago... I've revamped the list a bit. Is it clear enough which is today's quest? Chieftain Alex 15:21, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
That's perfect, thanks! Blue Totoro 23:42, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

Reward[edit]

Since the reward is always the same, why not list it on this page?Gren (talk) 02:16, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Done. --Silver Edge 02:59, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

Chance of drops[edit]

It is a bit boring killing the Vanguard foes without any drops. A drop would be so much more interesting. I've been talking to many players that think that as well. Weapons would have had ruined the economy and the point of killing the Charr in the Northlands as they drop weapons equally to the range for foes between level 7-10. What I had in mind for those Vanguard foes was some kind of item that is common or rare unique for Pre-Searing - a consumable that would give a bonus in battle, maybe an item giving +1 health regeneration for 5-10 minutes or an armour bonus for 5-10 minutes. Maybe they can drop the event drops. I talk about a drop that can be used, traded or collected. This would also make it more meaningful to try reaching Survivor title tier 3 with this introduced to the game. It isn't so fun killing those foes just for xp and they loose some of their value after you have reached level 20 so some kind of drop/drops would be great to see being introduced soon. --86.182.199.85 15:08, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Sadly, development pretty much stopped on the game since Bill Freist left in September. Now they only do bugfixes to keep the game online and low-maintenance. -- kazerniel (talk) 16:29, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Daily List out of sync[edit]

Can someone explain how to, or fix, the daily cycle being a day off? Shade the (talk) 21:29, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

I purged the cache (clicked on the clock at the top). Did that fix things? Greener (talk) 21:48, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
Okay it fixed it, thank you! Shade the (talk) 21:49, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
