needs update[edit]
This armor though elite armor cannot be seen as affordable in comparison to other (except for Monk elite scar patterns) armors of similar quality. This needs an update in cost of materials. Noctarch 21:47, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

- No, but honestly, why is this so prohibitively expensive? Is it possible that the rare material should have been parchment instead of vellum? Parchment would really make more sense from a cost perspective, considering that it doesn't require glittering dust to craft (only five planks and twenty gold per). Come on, guys. - Use of Vellum is for the tracing and then transfer of outlines for tattoo. Parchment is too thick to use for tracing.MystiLefemEle 11:17, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

can it be displayed?[edit]
can this armor be displayed in the account wide HoM if i go in with my dervish? 1. sign your comments please. 2. unless you somhow made your Dervish in proph no...there is no 'Marhan's Grotto Ascended Armor' for any Factions or NF proffession Zachariah Zuan. 16:26, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- If you choose to show armor via an account-based setting, and the profession lacks that armor skin (e.g. an elementalist who has a warrior with Silver Eagle on the same account), the display will be of a smaller bronze statue of a male and female wearing a sample of that armor series, side by side.
