Talk:O Brave New World
I hate you anet... I hate you.... why?... --Lou-Saydus 08:40, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

- This quest is so easy lol...Erff doesn't die...just H/H it. Lord Dark Eyes 15:28, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah just done it with H/H. Took Master of Whispers and Olias in a N/Me SS build, Xandra with a basic Shelter, Union, Recup build, and Lo Sha, Herta, Mehnlo and Lina to round out. I was a ranger with Pain Inverter and Standard of Courage. Just make sure Xandra keeps the spirits up (blood ritual on both necros help with energy) and stay inside Herta's ward and the Standard of Courage. Using the stairs to block arrows also helps. Only death was Lina going down once. Me55enger 15:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

can also be done without that bug[edit]
well, i even made it with npcs (some luck, two artistans and ekk survived...) i thought this wave will never end @.@...too good that i only died once...ss works wonders there. however. this rit boss finally said to me that this is the last wave... —ZerphaThe Improver 23:53, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
They never even made it to the Asura[edit]
I did this quest easily with Jora, Gwen, Livia, Cynn, Herta, Lina and Mehnlo. I did not wipe nor did the destroyers even get close to the steps of the temple. This was thanks support wells build I gave Livia. What a great build. I just pinned my team to a spot where well of blood and well of power overlapped and bam, +12 health and +2 energy regen for everyone. -Lucci Slevin
- Did it here as well, but with Olias as an MM N/Rit build with Splinter Weapon and Ancestor's Rage, Zhed with a melee shutdown build (Unsteady Ground, Eruption, Ward vs Melee and Aegis) and Zho for the final caster boss. Minions are great for any sort of mission where you have to defend against waves: the more enemies come, the bigger your army gets. Heck, afterwards I went for some Asura faction farming and got ~2000 points with ease. -- 166.120.202.204 03:40, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
I just accepted this quest without completing A Little Help. The only primary Asura quest I did was the Elusive Golemancer.- Tengent
Thank you official GW wiki for not including who gave you the quest.--71.67.243.230 04:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- Very easy with three Discord necros, Cynn, Herta, Zho and Lina. -- Large 02:36, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
The Elusive Golemancer[edit]
Added it for the prerequisite quest because that section was missing. I am 100% sure this is correct, test it if you don't believe me. Justin6 23:52, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- Slightly altered what you had typed. I thought that just containing The Elusive Golemancer on my Monk would allow me to do the quest. But no, so I switched to my Ranger, ran over to Blorf, and he gave me the quest...I had already done The Elusive Golemancer on this character.--iRathur 04:18, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
- Whomever edited my edit; I had the quest on my Monk. It still did not show. Care to explain? I even clarified that it didn't show on the post above this. Here is a Screenie as proof I'm right: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii13/guildwars1master/gw388-1.jpg

Trivia[edit]
I don't mean to be excessively technical, but that being said....technically, the title of Aldous Huxley's book was taken from the line of Shakespeare's writing, so if the skill name refers to the book Brave New World, it automatically indirectly refers to Shakespeare as well.....but I'm just saying One Who Brings Soot 20:46, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
- It also maybe a reference to an 2001 Iron Maiden album, Brave New World, which speaks of technology developments.Rumstocker 01:23, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well yeah but that is also highly likely a reference to the other two sources as well. Briareus 18:55, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
- It may also be a reference to the "Brave New World" idea spoken of by the Artilleryman in War of the Worlds musical from 1978. Irony has it that his idea called thus entails building a whole new *underground* human society, for life on the surface has become too dangerous because of an invading Martian army. That's the reverse of the Asurans, whom fled their underground life because of the Destroyers. Disconnect 10:17, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Too easy[edit]
I Flew through this with Spirit Spam, MM, A Thunderclap ele, and a WoH monk, (+Cynn,Herta,Talon, and Eve) had no problem with boss or mobs.
- Yawn. Pika Fan 10:23, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
- Discord made this child's play... i just put on alchemical acid and spammed 120 dmg and cracked armor to clumped groups... Valion Sentis 05:39, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- 7 heroes definitely made this too easy. I went through this with an AoE curses necro, Glimmer monk, prot ele, ice nuker, and 4 MM heroes (2 AotL, 1 Flesh, and 1 Jagged) Leave the Weak 01:24, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

number of monsters[edit]
There is about 50 destroyers that you must kill for this quest. Tycars125 21:18, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that the destroyer levels are right, though. I just saw some lvl 26 destroyers on hardmode. 84.161.96.92 23:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I just did the quest again and it sure looks that I wasn't wrong a year ago. Some of the foes are actually of a lower level (24 NM/26 HM), especially Destroyers of Flesh and Destroyers of Bone. I guess it's not that important. The quest is just too easy to care about foe levels. 84.171.153.172 03:06, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
