Deleted?[edit]
Ummm, why? Somehow my page got deleted. It had info on linking things in wiki on the talk page too.. Well, I just made an account with the same name. Before when I tried to log in, I got a "username does not exist" message. If anyone had any clue why it would have gotten deleted, or how to link other websites in wiki, it would be nice to hear from them. Thats it for now I guess... Justing6 01:14, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Wierd[edit]
A few minutes after making this user name, I was able to log into my old user page of the same name. Now, a day later, when I log in I am at this page. This is getting pretty weird... Justing6 04:25, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
PvX[edit]
Al u need to do to link it is [<i> Add URL Here </i>] that should do it. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Shadowphoenix (talk).

A nowiki tag wasn't closed (deleted those tildes, it showed up as my sig :S)-- Brains12 \ Talk 19:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Wait, what is a nowiki tag, and why is my sig working now Justing6 19:53, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- A <nowiki> tag makes it so that wiki formatting and the like are ignored. Because of that, your signature code was ignored and thus only showed up as ~~~~. Your sig works now because I added in </nowiki> -- Brains12 \ Talk 19:55, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you, and while you are here, any clue what is happening about my page's deletion and all? Justing6 19:58, 18 February 2008 (UTC) (Edit:Indented)
- Hmm I think you must have entered in the wrong name when you registered because this user page wasn't deleted. By the sounds of it, you perhaps forgot your previous username? -- Brains12 \ Talk 20:01, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Um, well thats what I thought at first, but on Saturday when it was switching between the two I triple checked the spelling. And it wasn't this one that got deleted, it was the other one. Still can't understand why it was switching because they have the same username and I personally typed it a few times, not letting auto-fill-in do it. Justing6 20:11, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, and I just tried logging in with a space before and after my username, which automatically logged me into this page, and trying "Justing 6" which returned a "that username does not exist". Justing6 20:14, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, spaces before page names are generally ignored, so it didn't recognise it before Justing6. I'm not really sure what your username could have been, so I guess you could either keep trying names or just keep this one. -- Brains12 \ Talk 20:17, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks, I'll just keep this one unless for some reason it goes back to my old page, then I will try to find out what it was again. But for now I will leave it at this. Justing6 20:21, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Links[edit]
I am just wondering how to stop that arrow from being on the front of your links to URLs, still trying to get used to the wiki code. Justing6 20:22, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- P.S. I meant at the end of my links. Justing6 20:23, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

to make here -- Brains12 \ Talk 20:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)- Good news! I figured out why it seems I have two pages brains! One is on this site, and the other is on a pretty much identical site here . Thats pretty weird, why are there two guildwikis?
- That was me ^ Justing6 04:01, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- Heh, glad you got it figured out. The other wiki was the first major one - this one was set up by Arenanet a fairly long time after so they could link it within the game. They couldn't do it with GuildWiki (the other one) because of various legal issues. -- Brains12 \ Talk 04:03, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- That is why this one links through F10 in the game and has the arenanet icon at the bottom. I see now, thanks. Justing6 04:05, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Signature?[edit]
Hey, I have a signature made and everything, but I can't find were to put the link under preferances to make it my signature. Justing6 04:49, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- First you need to make a page with your sig and only your sig on it. Should be called something User:Justing6/Sig. You can look at mine if you need an example. Then go to your preferances and below your real name, there should be something called nickname. In that box, type in Justin6 . And that should give you a new sig. Don't forget to check the raw signatures box though. Note also that your sig has to follow the policies on the wiki, seen here. Hope that helped. The Cabal 11:16, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- When I tried that, all that happened is that it said my preferences had been saved, then showed that in the nickname box. After I went to test sign with preview, it came out as a bold black raw sig. I went back to preferences and it just said justing6 in the nickname box again. Justing6 00:08, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Try clearing your browser cache. I think that it's shift+reload or ctrl+reload, depending on what browser you are using. Make sure to check the raw signature box. Otherwise it might be something wrong with the HTML/Wiki code that you are using. If that fails, post at the wiki help center. The Cabal 00:36, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Was looking around and saw that you didn't have a user page for your sig. In order for the SUBST to work, post the code that you are using for the sig on this page. Then things should work out for you if you do what I said above. The Cabal 00:38, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- It saved it, but now my sig looks like this.... {{SUBST:User:Justing6/Sig}} 22:53, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Notice how if I just put Justin6 it shows it.... [[SUBST:User:Justing6/Sig]] 22:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Also it is really annoying, but the SUBST worked only when I turned raw links on, which i am sure are against the code, but here Justin6 22:59, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- You shouldn't be using templates to insert your signature (Guild Wars Wiki:Sign your comments explains). Justin, just put that code directly into your nickname box in your preferences, tick the raw signatures box, and save; it should work. If not, see Help:Signatures to see whether you're doing anything wrong. -- Brains12 \ talk 22:59, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
