The minimum i think is wrong because is vanquished it with only 142 enemy's

Vanquishing

I searched this whole island looking for the last enemy to vanquish, and my group had taken care not to pop the oni on the hill by the bridge. When all hope was lost, I went and popped him just for the heck of it, killed him, and was awarded the vanquisher for it. I know this was not a graphical glitch because when he appeared it made the shimmering animation that they usually appear with (i.e. there was no way he had already been popped and was just hidden from my screen). Same thing happened to me, took me 20 mins to find the last foes, turns out I needed to kill the 2 kappas that popup in the beach. Cho Wei the Skull Axe can be successfully pulled from his allies and defeated separately from them. Just did it. Puk 03:20, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

I'd also like to add that bringing Mantra of Frost on the healer in the party makes this a great deal easier to vanquish, since you'll want 3 dmg and 1 heal in your party. It's great damage mitigation and energy management in one. Consider putting about 9 points in Inspiration. All major spike damage is the Water element in this zone, Shatterstone from the naga, and Ice Spear from the kappa. Spirit Rift is Air dmg from the Naga Sibyl's, and may still hurt, but its not a hard skill to sidestep. Puk 03:52, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

I just had a similar problem, except in my case I eventually triggered a pair of Crimson Skull popups and was awarded the vanquish on killing them.SirNukes 02:09, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Hidden foes should not be counted if they don't appear. I killed only additional Nagas in caverns and Crimson Skull in port Kaimu (because these spawn points cannot be avoided), no extra Nagas and Oni at all = 139 foes. --Slavic 11:18, 23 January 2010 (UTC)

I can confirm that hidden foes may be required - I searched the whole map for the missing group and finally started walking aimlessly and popped 2 Crimson Skull to the east of the warrior boss's house. I killed them and the vanquish completed. May be a glitch on this map. Jafar 15:02, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

I was vanquishing this on 4 different chars over the week. The first 3 were Prophecies/Nightfall. I had 183 on the first char, then 168 on the next two as I learnt to avoid the spawn points. But on my fourth vanquish, it was a Factions character. Immediately I noticed fewer Kappa spawning, and as I progressed further, I noticed the absense of some Crimson Skull, including the warrior boss. It seems Factions characters can have much fewer foes, with a a total of 138 foes (and I could have done 132 foes if I carefully avoided some naga spawn points). Jafar 09:39, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

179foes, 58min, h/h, vanq/maping. The buff to Healing Burst really shows here. Wanderlust + 1 OR 2 healers (if over aggro/nearby healer) can be a real pain to kill without some aoe pressure. I ran ineptitude and while it worked well enough, certainly wasnt ideal (spell caster ai loves to spam spells to avoid anti-attack hexes). Loads of spell casters on this map beg for something like Technobable (aoe daze). In hind sight, my gwen with her aoe interupt bar (cry of frustration+tease+complicate) would have been king aswell. Although this map isnt superbly difficult, do take a little more care then I did. I just ran through the map with zero flagging and ended up wiping once (stalemate vs the war boss and 2 heal bursters + a rit/mes team) and nearly a second time in naga cave (dont underestimate high rank Spirit Rift + Cracked Armor x 2 or 3 naga rits + bad ai formations). I was vanquishing this area last night. Stuck at 191 kills. Ran around for literally hours. Left my computer on overnight, came back to it this morning and on a whim killed a tameable tiger and was awarded credit for the vanquish. - Anon, 2021-10-15.

Dragon

What is the massive stone dragon in this area about? Is it linked to the Water Dragon in Grothmar Wardowns at all; maybe this is a Fire Dragon?

There's one at Kaineng Center, too. Since they're both near ports, I think they might work as lighthouses.

Avatar of Dwayna Bug?

Went out into this area from Tsumei on lowbie characters, saw that there was favor and kneeled at Dwayna's statue, and . . . nothing happened. Tried many times. The conversation between Evil Bandit Woman and Farmer Walks Slow was going on; we waited for it to finish and him to slowly leave, still no avatar. Came back later without this event running and the avatar worked. Can't be sure that's WHY it dosen't work, but . . . --Star Weaver 02:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

I was doing the quest with that guy that thinks it is his lucky day(canthan newyear) and when I used PBAoE to kill the bull i also hit the cows?!?

Chat Filter

Has anyone else noticed that the chat filter edits the name "Quimang"? With the filter level set to normal, it says "Captain ---ang." --RoyHarmon 14:25, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
