Created Party Beacon page and updated Festive Item page + nav template, but didn't add icon images because I didn't screenshot it before using my beacon, so please add it :-)
Effect[edit]
This provides an effect, has anyone noticed the effect actually doing anything? For instance, bonus party poins when using spam-able items? --BriarThe Spider 06:09, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Double Time[edit]
The effect doubles the time visual effects from items like Sparklers and Disco Balls apply. Basically. I haven't tested anything on tonics, but it definitely applies to Sparklers and Disco Balls.
Tradeable?[edit]

- "Can't be sold" != "Can't be traded" (I would prefer that the box read, merchant value: 0 instead of can't be sold because of the ambiguity that you raise...but folks decided long ago they preferred the latter.) — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 09:27, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
- Personally i don't think it's confusing with some reasoning. If you read the entire line it says "Value" on the left (and at least if this is not your first article you read on this wiki) it's pretty clear that "Value" refers to the amount of coins stated on the corresponding item (if identified) that you'll get when you sell it to a merchant.
- I'm not that much into an overly bureaucratic wiki, but it should be pretty obvious that documenting dynamic prizes would be rather pointless. Although i guess you never disagreed with that and just have the intention to reduce the confusion for those who don't think of that, so i can see why you would prefer if it read "merchant value: 0".
- I also admit that some players seem to mistake the wiki for Wartower's price check forum^^
- I prefer "Can't be sold" to "0 " since if you have that line of text instead of the usual "<number> <coin icon>" i find it easier to see that one cannot sell this to a merchant. So one one hand this makes you see faster "i can't make profit from this by selling it to an NPC" and also makes it clear that you can't sell the item for nothing, so you have to destroy it or throw it away in an explorable area if you want to get rid of it (which is true for any item that "sells for 0" for that matter).
- The anon who started this section demonstrated that this inconsistency of stating the item's value can get misinterpreted (by players that look at this as the trading value among other players) as a statement that this is an untradeable item - but he also realized his misinterpretation pretty quickly, so i think there should be an easy way to fix this:
- I linked the word "Value" to Merchant. This should really make it obvious, since anyone in doubt can simply hover over the word and know what this "value" refers to. So those who see a somewhat special consumable like this one or a rare crafting material that's apparantly just worth 250 coins should get enlightened this way. —ZerphaThe Improver 15:19, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
