So did the name of the actual animal change in the game to Imperial Phoenix? --Rainith 04:03, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Good question... --Lemming 00:57, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- Killed Shiro yesterday. If I recall correctly, they are still named Phoenix. - anja 18:45, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

How big is this?[edit]
can someone post some pictures of this at lvl 20? I ditched my phoenix 2 days before the update, and now i need to know how big it is. :] Axel 14:53, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
I got a new Imperial Phoenix after the new pet growth update, leveled it to 20, and it's still the same size as a level 5! Went into the Divine Path to be sure. Does the update affect other Factions pet excluding the Phoenix? Also, aren't they supposed to have a Dire/Elder/Hearty Prefix before their name after a certain level? Mine's an Elder judging by the 480HP, but the name doesn't show even if I refresh it with /petname. --Dash 03:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, maybe yours isnt growing because it hasnt evolved, or Phoenix pets just dont grow. Does anyone else know anything about this? Axel 14:53, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, unevolved won't grow. Backsword 14:55, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- From what I've read, they are about the same size as full-grown Mountain Eagles. - anja 14:56, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification, didn't realize they HAD to evolve to grow, and not just reach level 20. --Dash 02:04, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Im not exactly sure, but i think they grow a little bit, ive seen some decent level 15's and the like, but it definitely isnt as big as a rainbow phoenix Valion Sentis 17:13, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Question[edit]
On the article page, it says this:
"If you plan on taming this pet, it's a good idea to replace Charm Animal with the celestial skill for the mission. At the Divine Path it will come back."
Firstly, I just checked the celestial skill page, there isn't a taming one. Secondly, what does it mean by "At the Divine Path it will come back"?
If you talk to Kunnaavag in the Imperial Palace mission, you get a Celestial skill. You can change every skill you want with this. also with Charm Animal. When you are at Divine Path you get that skill back. -- The Warrior Of Timi 05:29, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- It means replace Charm Animal with your Celestial skill then when you at the Divine Path, you can use Charm Animal again. — ク Eloc 貢 20:39, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Wont Attack Back on Z-Menagarie[edit]
I tried to do death leveling with this pet on zaishen menagarie grounds and it wont fight back! when I tried to charm it. Just wanna say that cause it wasn't on the notes.--Ridz16 18:22, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- no pet attacks back tehre and you can death level without it attacking back 127.0.0.1 18:26, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clearing that up, I guess I can have a dire Jingle Bear after all. Btw as I was typing this I'm death leveling the Phoenix at Divine Path lol, he's 13 atm. =P --Ridz16 19:20, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- get some 55 hp monk a vamp waepon and three heroes with fomf andor ua takes less then 20 minutes 127.0.0.1 19:38, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
- That same reason is why my Necromancer has 10,000 deaths in less than a year.--Neil2250 , Render Lord 20:33, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Unevolved[edit]
I'd like a lvl 20 unevolved phoenix for the slashing dmg, what would I need to do? NachosWitCheese 07:17, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
what if you don't own factions?[edit]
if you don't own factions, can you unlock and charm it from the Zaishen Menagerie? and would it be the same for the black moa? --Moto Saxon 05:11, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
Pet out of Range?[edit]
I released my pet rainbow phoenix in Zaishen menagerie, then went to charm the real one for my rare pet. None of the Phoenix's in Divine path were charmable? I kept getting "Your pet is out of range" message, when I clearly had no pet (I had been running other explorable areas with sharm animal equipped before. Is there a skill requirement to charm this animal or something? Has there been a revision?--76.121.64.77 03:41, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Unable to add it, possibly resolved[edit]
YOUR PHEONIX NEEDS TO BE LVL 20 I THINK to add it, mine was lvl 5 and it gave me no option to add it. Atlvl `15(unlocked it through the menagerie) it gave me the option, but said it wasnt fully evolved so it cudnt add it yet. Gonna work on lvl 20 now
HoM[edit]
I just deathleveled this pet today and I can't add it to HoM. I could just add the companion statue. The pet was in my party but I don't see it's prefix for its evolution. The pet is lvl 20. What's the problem?
NVM. I registered the pet at Zaishen and I tamed an elder one and then i could add it to HoM.
- You need to have it at level 20, plus you need to view your HoM in personal accomplishments mode, and you need a tapestry. If you're viewing your account-wide accomplishments, but don't have a tapestry in the HoM of your current character, you can't add anything.Sjeng 14:49, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
3rd Charmable Phoenix?[edit]
There's a third phoenix flying around near the emperor. Looks as small as the ones near Suun and the ministers, could be charmable as well. 84.131.2.79 11:34, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
