Auron B::: i gues it is cool although i would like to se it's range increased the near by this is kind of retrictive especially give it long recharge time.

Rez Un-Charmed pets?[edit]

Can this rez un-charmerd pets?--Treesbyty 23:46, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Nope - until it's charmed, it's just an animal. Though it was just possible enough to make me go check. :) --Fourth Horseman 00:12, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps a Buff?[edit]

I don't see much use of this skill. Perhaps a smaller cast time or a longer range would be nice for this skill. I like it, but it just doesnt really work unless A: there are multiple pets, and B: you're in a hot combat zone with interrupts. Anyone else agree with this? Yeah this skill is dumb... comfort animal plox? Ninjas In The Sky 14:07, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Agreeable. and I hate to say this, but don't forget to sign your comments with four tildes. Just a friendly reminder :) User-Wandering Traveler Sig.png Wandering Traveler 21:13, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm getting sick of this. 6 secs activation, long recharge. If there are no other beast masters around or their pets are far away? Plz, buff this. Noone uses it or ever will. Ninjas In The Sky 17:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Wtb 2 second activation time. Halogod35 17:32, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

This skill will never receive a buff sense it is not an elementalist skill (reminder ranger skills never have recived a buff and currently never will due to Izzy being paranoid about ranger spikes).William Wallace 08:58, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Okay, comfort animal spike in 3...2...1...Good job guys,we sure spiked them with our rezzes there.Oni 19:29, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Saw a skill bar that had this, and comfort animal, and Heal as one on it. fail. 24.233.254.51 01:01, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

I think it's pretty strong already, it's just very situational depending on the team composition. It allows all other beast masters in the party to free up their comfort animal slots, and it makes meat shield pets (taking a hearty pet with little/no contribution to beast mastery just for a damage sponge, orders trigger, whatever) more viable because the meat shield owners only need to spend one skill slot on it instead of two. The only thing I would change is the range, no need to force the party to spend 20 or more seconds of downtime just because more than one pet died and they died too far apart.

Except Comfort Animal can now be used to bring your pet. If this skill also brought your pet along with you then it would be useful (maybe make it an elite). 69.179.162.188 06:23, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

Has anyone ever used this skill?[edit]

See title --72.211.251.143 01:29, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the range and recharge sure are annoying, but you still free up 1 skill slot per other beastmaster in the party, which really helps since beastmasters suffer from very tight skill bars. And the downsides aren't that bad if you can keep your pets alive. Necromas 17:42, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Officially Obsolete[edit]

Not that it had 'much' use in the past, but now it definately is 'dead' if you ask me. Rename and/or functionality change would be welcome. Any ideas? Deluriam 15:59, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes with the new update to comfort animal this skill is now totally useless. Pleas PLEASE do something with it. Remove it or fix it. Makes me sad to see something with so much potential flushed down the drain. Nay the One and Only 04:09, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes, this used to be good in PvE for beastmaster subs. If you had several BM-subs, only one needed a res. Obviously was useless if you needed to res in-battle, though (as you would with an actual BM). -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 04:24, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
For a new functionality I am thinking something like, reduced activation time, recharge time, and increased distance usage. Maybe add health return to the caster upon successful rez or teleport it to your location. Just some ideas I thought about. Nay the One and Only 04:49, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Or maybe make it so that the area of effect is shout-range, and that it buffs the pet when it gets revived for 30 seconds. Makes it into a little mini-juggernaut almost.

Revive Animal - 5 Energy1 Activation time5 Recharge time - Skill. Remove all conditions from your pet. If your pet is dead, it is resurrected at your location with 10...35% health and Revive Animal is disabled for an additional 10 seconds.

This skill is now totaly pointless :/--Neil2250User Neil2250 sig icon.jpg 21:25, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the first PvP only skill! PvE has a lot of skills that can only be used there, now there's 1 skill that is only useful in PvP. It's not 'pointless'. --User Tometheus-signature.png Tometheus (talk) 16:46, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

its about as usefull as me.Which im not.--Neil2250User Neil2250 sig icon.jpg 15:52, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Guys, you still like need this skill to charm animals and stuff........ Misery 15:56, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Holy crap, I thought I was on Charm Animal... Misery 15:56, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
Lol ^_^, also- the slashed comment is now obsolute, GO COMFORT ANIMAL BUFF!--Neil2250 User Neil2250 sig icon4.jpg. 11:27, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

@ Tometheus, This skill is in no way useful in any serious PvP. Anyone who tries to cast a res spell in PvP that takes 6 seconds to cast is taking a huge risk that rarely pays off, and the fact that this is a near touch range skill that only revives pets just makes it all the more useless. Any decent team would interrupt it. It's far more efficient in PvP for each ranger to carry his\her own charm animal and manage their own pet. Something like this would be far more effective: " 5 Energy2 Activation time10 Recharge time Skill. Resurrects your pet at 10...77...94% health. If your pet was alive you resurrect a random dead allied pet instead." Master Ketsu 23:20, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

I just vote we remove it from the game entirely and purchase some new pet AI Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.jpg 02:13, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Animation[edit]

It seems it lacks any. 88.152.25.23 12:15, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Ironic given that it's a re-animation skill. Although as the skill itself is dead I guess somehow appropriate. Robdalf 18:40, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
