Crystal Desert Scarabs and their drops

[1] IMO, the reason for this edit is not backed up. Just because Jade Mandible doesn't list Scarab Nest Builder as a potential drop target does not automatically make the NPC page incorrect. Unless one has farmed them, and Marrow Scarabs for that matter, and have never gotten the mandible drop from them, one cannot say that one page is more correct than another. Perhaps they're both right, but all three pages are lacking information. The two scarabs do drop them, but is that the only things that drop the mandible?

I killed over 200 of them. All my Tahlkoras have Kepkhet's Refuge now and all. So I can say for sure they don't drop them.

All of those Scarabs where added to Prophet's Path at the same time along Kepkhet Marrowfeast, and thus they had to be coded separately. That's probably why they don't drop the Scarab trophy, maybe their species is set incorrectly to one that doesn't have drops in Prophecies (like Insects), or trophy drops are added manually and they didn't got it, or something like that, whatever it was, the problem comes from the March 2 2006 update: Kepkhet Marrowfeast, Queen of the Scarabs, has brought her brood to the desert, drawn by the plentiful corpses of griffons, minotaurs, and even other scarabs. The insect brood now infests the "Prophet's Path," so travelers be warned!. MithTalk 12:43, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
