Talk:Selvetarm

Should be a trivia note or something. Selvetarm is a D&D god for the Forgotten Realms setting. He appears as dark elf with the lower body of a spider. Makes sense to use a dryder for this tribute to an obscure D&D reference.Buddah668 08:29, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

That's what I thought too, I had just finished re reading War of the Spider Queen and when i saw the name I got the impression of the big fight between Vherun and Lolth's champion. Weaponmaster 2:16, 22 June 2008

Add it then... Paddymew 10:26, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

yep, good reference all round... MrPaladin talk 19:22, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Selvetarm's Attack[edit]

is it in use? i couldn't find something like that in the notes, and i also can't remember this immunity during combat. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:27, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

It's possibly unimplemented, each Slavers' boss has a buff but only Duncan's might actually be used. Never really tested. — PmaN  19:32, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
If it turns out to be unimplemented i think it should be noted on the skill's page. (Otherwise this skill should be noted on Selvetarm's page of course.) We still need someone to confirm this though. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 23:22, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it's unimplemented, seeing as how I can squish him pretty easily whether his friends are over or not. If it is implemented, they probably screwed up somewhere along the line. I think the name of the skill lends credence to the unimplemented theory; when the devs don't create patently ridiculous skill names, they tend to make them accurate. –Jette 04:58, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Possibly the same for Rand's Attack, Thommis's Attack. Forgewight, Selvetarm, and Thommis also have blessing buffs which probably are in use. — PmaN  05:10, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
