render?[edit]

Anyone know what the "shamrock ale render.jpg" is supposed to show? Vladtheemailer 17:02, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Suppose that is rendering without background, provided by User:Emily Diehl such as Four-Leaf Clover.jpg - MSorglos 17:11, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
3d object seen when dropped on ground -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 17:16, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
I noticed with the four leaf clover the background for the regular image was cut. I didn't do that for this though, but if Emily is provided the rendered images I don't necessarily see the value of both. I'd originally cut the Ale image with the box that says "Shamrock Ale: Double click to drink. Excessive alcohol consumption will result in intoxication." But this looked crap with the format being used. Vladtheemailer 17:18, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
What? -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 17:21, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Yes, some of the renders are pretty close to the icon files. Let me know if you guys don't think they are necessary. --Emily Diehl 17:44, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Personally I'm not sure why we would need Four-Leaf Clover.jpg and Four-Leaf Clover.png Vladtheemailer 17:50, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
You don't get it, it's for uniformity, just because the render is similar to the icon in this case doesn't mean we should get rid of it -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 17:53, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
I think its important to have them both. The render is just simply beautiful and in most cases helps us to see what the thing actually looks like. And, the in game image lets us know what to expect to see in game as brought up by Smurf here. Kaya-sig.png kaya 18:06, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
I see no harm in having both, for the sense of completion why not? --Lemming64 21:11, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Dropping[edit]

Farming place[edit]

I dunno if this is a good farming place, but since I am a lvl 20 Ele, the best farming place for me was Ruins of Surmia. THere is a crater, and if you just wait there all charr will come to you. When they are at one hope and start attacking you, 1 liquid fire is mostly enough to kill 90% of them.

Since I am Ele/R, I use my pet for distraction and then use liquid fire to kill them. When they are all cleared, I just teleport back to ruin of Surmia and then I do it again. (Just 1/2 minute walking) -- Conget

Secret Lair of the Snowmen would be better, imo. -AyaStowar
