It might be useful to note that you'd better tell your party members how this skill works...Nicky Silverstar 18:17, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

maybe, yes^^. it would also be useful for Minions, as they do not use any skills^^ well, the bad thing is: they can't make use of energy at all. But wait...does it affect minions? if yes, it does affect spirits as well, and wasn't there a skill that took energy from spirits and gave it to you? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 00:15, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
the skill i meant was Spirit SiphonZerphatalkThe Improver 03:01, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Offensive spirits technically still use skills, if I recall (Disenchantment, et. al.). If it does work, this would be best used on passive spirits such as Life. --SoraMitsukai 20:44, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

this actually is ok to use between mobs in pve. By the time it runs out your energy will have been recharged by it anyway, and it is a nice way to refill Eles and monks. 129.67.17.233 18:27, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Good point, I am tired of telling Olias to cast Blood Ritual on me and Zhed after every fight. My only concern is that Zhed will act horse-brained and cast his attunement spell right after this song, but other than that this skill would be handy, hitting up us eles and the monks at same time. I wonder if it is better to have a paragon hero disable this skill and do it on demand, I'm afraid it might get used in the middle of a fight. Anyone used this on a hero before? "Skills"?[edit]

Is there ANYTHING that you cast trough this? And does it end when you've pressed the skill or when the skill is used? --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 22:46, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

It says when using a skill, so yeah, if you press a skill icon you are done for. The best thing I can see about this is...ta-da! For Monks that are maintaining enchantments, this is VERY ideal, if the combination of maintaining enchantments are good, a Paragon can help you with energy management.--ShadowFog 23:17, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, in theory you can keep up to 8 enchantments now (bit tricky to set up I guess..). Too bad it only lasts 5..17..20 seconds.. that would mean you need two paragons with high energy management or one with some kind of faster recharge and even more energy! I'll write the idea down. Has this been used before for this purpose, or only for energy regen after battles? Another Idea: Are there any stances that require energy while using? (For x seconds you deal x when attacking and lose x energy) --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 08:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
In practise you can upkeep up to 14 enchantments. Without any Song of Power. Just to let you know. :-) --82.83.51.190 02:12, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I'll be honest here, if Izzy wanted this out PvP, he should done the same thing he did to Smiter's Boon for PvP, just for PvE and for IP, please state facts to share with the wiki instead of posting sentences, thank you.--ShadowFog 04:41, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

use with skills that cause energy loss on a repeating basis; ie spinal shivers, the other necro-on-cold damage skill, and isn't there another skill on some other profession?

Actually u can keep it up forever with 2 paras -> 15 Motivation 10 Leadership, you'll need to cast it every 40sec and it will affect you so you'll have 6 pips so in 40 sec you gain 20 energy and assuming you are within earshot of atleast 5 more allies you'll get an extra 5 energy from leadership making it maintenable :) --Aartist21 15:57, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
and this all to make whole party doing nothing?, it ends on next skill --Bargaw 14:20, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Spirits[edit]

It says allies, so does it work on spirits? - Spirit siphon abuse - --Bargaw 14:20, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

I doubt it, worth a try. -- Halogod35 User Halogod35 Sig.jpg 14:44, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Confirmed, it works with spirits. Thus allowing you to abuse Spirit Siphon -- Halogod35 User Halogod35 Sig.jpg 14:51, 25 June 2009 (UTC)
Except spirit attacks are attack skills and thus should end this effect. Just like how they trigger chants that only work with attack skills. Necromas 19:42, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
there are many spirits that are passive... so it could work in a way MrPaladin talk 20:08, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Notes[edit]

Inform your party when your about to use this skill so they can ditch because your an idiot...A party not using skills is a dead party. Not even after a fight is this skill worth a slot. Take a blood henchy or take a hero with br and save yourself the laughs. Justice 02:34, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
