renew?[edit]

If spell shield is renewed before the duration ends, do your skills still get disabled?Barkingllama 09:43, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

I tried it with echo.. and no. Skills didn't get disable. Klotek 15:42, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Aftercast delay[edit]

let's say you can spam your spells all the time, the only time you will be vulnerable to enemy spells is during aftercast delay, right? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 22:53, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Yes, although you would also be vulnerable if enemy knocks you down with non-spell abilities. - Elder Angelus 13:48, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Buff[edit]

Make it maintainable. So either a longer duration or a shorter recharge. That would be interesting to see on primary monks. Psychiatric Consultant 16:50, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

It is maintainable. Bring a 20% enchanting staff and maintain Blessed Aura. If you don't want to invest too much in DF you can also use Glyph of Swiftness to help. <>208.117.81.202 20:01, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
That's not maintainable. That would be building around this skill, which isn't worth it. Psy is saying that the duration should be longer than the recharge naturally, not wasting half your skillbar on getting to recharge faster. 72.81.247.139 09:30, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Because Glyph of sacrifice takes up 3 skill slots mirite? Dark Morphon(contribs) 10:18, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

its fine on recharge...if they droped the casting time to 1/4 sec then you wouldnt have to worry about being interupted during recast--Justice 11:04, 2 August 2008 (UTC)

this is a great skill. i use it every day in UW solo farming as a 55 monk, by casting this. you dont need to maintain it, when the dying nightmare comes, you have this on from the start, and you spam flare at the nightmare. Then, you make sure that you have all your enchantments near the beginning of their life, then simply wait for a the 6 or 7 second disable. Its a great skill.

I like this skill because it keeps me from being interrupted by mesmers while casting.

Notes[edit]

The PvP version of Aegis now blocks spells, can I change the notes section? 173.67.10.159 14:44, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

It doesn't block spells, it makes them fail, and you can add it to Related Skills. Titani Ertan contributions 06:39, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Cancel action[edit]

If your build isn't horrible enough already, you can use cancel action to always have something to cast. --DANDY ^_^ -- 01:53, 25 April 2020 (UTC)
