Bug[edit]

I believe there is a bug, in which if you shadow step to an animated necromancer minion, it may sometimes not move for a while. (I have only tried this with Shambling, and Jagged Horrors) Could someone else test this, for reliability? KΦΦbes talk 20:27, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Anyone actually found a use for this yet? It would be a nasty skill if it was target foe instead, but it would make it more useful at least - Byakko User Page 20:45, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

I heard its good for Duncan. Swap away the spirits. Dunno though if it helps - never been to Duncan. Eth 12:07, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

finding a purpose, to gain razah, may be hard but this makes it a laugh. You can move away those spirits to make sure you dont get surrounded by the margonites that spawn at their original locations. You won't even trigger the spawn yet be able to finish the quest

Yeah, this skill is great against Duncan. My wife and I killed him pretty quickly with heroes when I brought this along. I think one of my heroes might have died once... --RoyHarmon 23:32, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Instead of using this in finding a purpose, ur gaze of fury, sompletes it without fighting ANY MARGRONITES, makes it very simple. Flaming hot chilli 06:33, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Suggestion changes[edit]

You and target(ally, minion, spirit, enemy) shadow step to each other's location....Bive (talk · contributions)

That would be even more overpowered than your proposed change to Spirit Walk. There is a reason that the only skills that forcefully move opponents are monster-only or environmental effects. 99.144.162.16 22:09, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

You and target(ally, minion, spirit, enemy) shadow step to each other's location,if you have 4 or more attack skills, they are disabled for 15 seconds...Bive (talk · contributions)
Still overpowered. If you had a ranger with you, set up lots of traps, then use swap on an enemy to pull them on top of the traps. Or body block the enemy and kill him, lot of overpowered things possible if you could swap with an enemy. 24.233.254.51 19:51, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
You and target ally shadow step to each others location. 30 seconds recharge! 91.16.143.146 15:07, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Hrm I'm thinking something along the lines of a cooperative skill rather than some fun stupidity: Stance. If target (ally, enemy) uses Swap, you shadow step to each other's location and Swap ends. Haru 21:28, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
Lose all enchantments. You and target shadow step to each other's location. Disables your skills 10 seconds.
Is this to overpowered too? Yes, you could let a ranger lay traps and kill one enemy, but then you are dead to. Because all your skills are disabled and your enchantments striped, you can't protect yourself against the attacks of the rest of the group enemies. So then you can only do your trap trick only once. This will most likely mean death in PvP, so or this should be the skill, or leave away the "Lose all enchantments" part. F.c.Sauer --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.208.166.90 (talk).
Please just make it Teleport instead of Shadow Step. Could finally teleport up bridges and such in combination with Summon Spirits =D huuuge buff.--85.0.204.251 21:13, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Even with the 10s skill disability and the loss of enchantments is mass OP. Maintain recall on an ally, use this, both of you are with the foe. Especailly OP in PvP, free backline kill. 23:08, 23 November 2009 (UTC) The Crippster

Possible trivia reference to a spell from the game Dota? There is a hero called Vengeful Spirit with an ultimate named "Swap" + 08:52, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
