I think the Asura Gate can be added here.--User RAd1cAl EdwArd Guildwiki-icon-small.pngRAd1cAl_EdwArd 18:49, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

And someone should revise the note about Mursaat teleporters. I would but I don't have the time right now. --Srakin 21:40, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Should it be noted that the fire imp (and possibly other summons) don't travel through teleporters and will be left behind? Delta36 11:18, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Never mind, plucked up the courage to add it as a bug myself, essentially copied from Summoning stone page.--delta36 14:15, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

Possible Bug?[edit]

As I was vanquishing Skyward Reach, I walked through a teleporter just after a Hydra was casting Meteor on a group of my bone minions. Before the meteor hit, the minions were teleported. However, the meteor ALSO teleported, and landed on my entire group. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a screenshot. Should this be counted as a bug with the teleporters, or just normal spell casting? Nym 19:50, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

"A character who moves out of a ranged, non-projectile skill's range by teleporting will still be affected by that skill, just like a character who moves out of a ranged, non-projectile skill's range by other means." Teleporters @Guild Wiki
"Minipets and other allies such as those created from Summoning Stones do not teleport. " — ibid
Also: there's a discrepancy between what we see on-screen and what is happening in the game. Some of that is lag (delay between an event on your computer being communicated to ANet and the results being sent back to you) and some of that is inherent to animation (not all events coincide exactly with what is displayed). In other words, it might have looked as if you had teleported while the game servers still thought you were still standing on the from side of the machine.
So, your experience seems consistent with how the game is programmed and how other people experience it.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:06, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
Oops.. guess I really haven't been reading up on this at all. Thanks for pointing that out. Nym 04:18, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
To be fair, this wasn't necessarily clear in the article until recently.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 04:34, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
To state it more simply, teleporting (at least in the Crystal Desert) doesn't break spell targeting. So when he hits that glowy circle, if a Hydra is casting a Meteor on him, it'll still function as expected, as would any non-projectile ranged skill. Now, it is in fact possible to dodge a Meteor or similar spell if it finishes casting at the exact moment you teleport, but that's just an effect of dodging the AoE, just like running out of the area the Meteor hits.
