I've vanquished 129 foes and haven't gotten credit for the vanquish yet.... there is nobody else on the map. Sucks.--Supan0va 01:53, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I found a group of charr patrolling through the bottom left bridge when I vanquished: Sultan 00:34, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I had seen that group and chased them down, still no luck. I have since gone back and successfully vanq'ed the area, 129 foes that time too ^_^ Supan0va 16:24, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

Happened to me too, at 131. I've run around for half an hour and I can't find any more dudes. Is it possible that the zone is bugged (after all these years)? 09:24, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

Nevermind, there was a single Charr Martyr at the very southeast corner that eluded me. -_- 09:30, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
131foes, 58min, vanq/mapping. Linguring Curse sucks bad if you only have one healer. Worst skills: Lingering Curse(Spam skill, not much defense for it other then killing them fast), Power Block(dirty skill, bet on your very first spell getting hit by this which helps you dampen the impact on your skillbar), SoJ(enchant removal, or simply switch targets), 100Blades(please use blind or weakness on these; even without 100b the warriors are engines of destruction), Ingnite Arrows(hunters rack alot of dmg with this & attack skills, blind helps but staying spread is key) and maybe Meteor Shower(easy to interupt, your probably not using henchies so flag). I would have to say that the "hardest" part of the zone is probably the diveristy of professions of each group considering its a 4man area. Overall a balanced team shouldnt accumulate death penalty to the point of failing since you gain quite a bit of exp per kill. I wiped once (early on before i started respecting LC) and had several deaths throughout the zone. Justice 02:06, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

I took a Discord Group (3 Necro Heroes and me a W/R) through and it worked well. Only one death to Master of Whispers, no others. Consider bringing Pain Inverter for the Charr Blade Warriors. When they fire off Hundred Blades, they kill themselves in just a couple of seconds. Also consider EVSS and remember to display your Agent title if you've got it for the extra energy and adrenaline you get with Rebel Yell when killing Charr. Good Hunting. 131 foes in just over an hour at a casual pace. Nothing here merits a group of 8, or even a group of 6 from Yak's imo, so unless you are rolling several zones at once, just leave from Piken's Square, its just so much easier. The only group that will give you pause is a pack of about 7 Charr in the... South West I think it was. If you get cocky you may die. I didn't so you shouldn't either. I suggest going clockwise from Piken's with a MM and picking up the Academy Monk, who faithfully followed me and healed my minions for 70% of this vanquish. This is number 121 of 121 vanquishes for me, so good luck chums. Puk 08:48, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

130 foes in 36 minutes with a party of 6 from Yak's (caravan vanq'ing towards Eastern Frontier). Not sure of where the patrol that goes under the bridge comes from, but I got lucky and caught them. There was one lone Charr in the far southeast. Zenyatta (talk) 01:38, 11 November 2015 (UTC)

"A group of soldiers that includes an Academy Monk has been reported to randomly spawn near the exit to Old Ascalon. If a minion master is in the party, the Academy Monk can be gotten to follow the party as she will keep trying to heal the minions." This is not bug, nor is it just a random appearance. They are tied to the quest Into the Breach, which is a warrior primary quest. Just thought the note should be removed, or reworked to include that fact. --Kristofferus 16:08, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

I did this vanquish last night on my ranger/ritualist, no warrior quests active, and the group of soldiers were there at the portal. It was nice having the Academy Monk follow me. *Malganis Frostmourn* 16:22, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
