Split[edit]

To (2006)and (2007 versions, as the dialogue and monsters are different--TimOfDoom 10:59, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

I would say: go ahead and split. But from where can we get the original Dialogue? Silencio 03:52, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
No need to do that. Why? The main purpose of GuildWars Wiki is to store 'Current' information. They are not separate quests like those added to make Razah acquisition became easier, or like those with the same name like 'Misterious Message' they are the same quests. Dialogs just have been edited. A note about that in the Notes section should be more than enough. No one will ever hit F10 and click in the older version, ever. I thought that also a bit of history belongs to a wiki after all we are a form of enceclopedia. I do agree that the minimum should be a reference in the notes. So i basicly say: if someone was to make a page about the 2006 quest i would not disagree, it would be more complete in my opinion, just a note is the minimum information that we should provide. This years version has a diffrent title though, so should we split now? 68.78.143.14 01:33, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Since this hasn't been really discussed in 2 years, I'm removing the split tag.--Venture User Ventured sig.png 19:01, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Bug or ?[edit]

Anyone an idea why one of my characters can get the quest while all the other characters of the same account cannot? Somehow it seems very weird as Imperial Guardsman Hanso states "There´s nothing more you can help us with at this time." I did not do anything yet o.O Any suggestions? I would like to do the quest with all of my characters...... Thx.--85.177.171.130 22:22, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Another bug or whatever, one of the red yetis I ran into during the quest was spamming bitter cold (10 sec recharge) and ignoring the recharge time

I experienced the same thing from the Level 12 Red Yeti - Bitter Chill's skill description states 'If that foe had more Health than you, Bitter Chill recharges instantly.' Shamayim Araboth ~ Ayy 11:20, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Yes, and if you're a 20 you'll most likely have more health. Maskeus:The more you win, the more you cheat. 10:10, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Not Repeatable?[edit]

I did this quest before the Finale Event Day. Now it seems Hanso wants to give it to me again but none of the NPCs are visible when I gate out. Also, as soon as I leave, the Quest vanishes from my Log. Is this a glitch or is it just not repeatable by the same character? RandwulfX 16:19, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

It's a bug associated with all festival quests after the festival is over (the DF ended about 10 hours ago) and if the quest giver remains (as Hanso does). You are able to take the quest, but it disappears as you zone. This prevents ppls from ending up with a fest-quest months later while still allowing people to get a reward in after the closing bell.
I seem to remember someone from ANet suggesting it wasn't that big a deal (since it disappears so quickly). However, I think it's misleading and they should find some way for the NPCs to say, "gee, soz m8: the festival ended and you are out of luck". — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:50, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

On Destroying the Lesser Grasp Too Soon[edit]

The Lesser Grasp seems to spawn in the Yeti cave (along with a Shing Jea Chest) once you come within range of the objective marker to kill the yetis. Killing the Grasp before actually receiving the objective to "destroy" it will prevent you from completing the quest until your party re-zones, which will reset the objectives. ninestories 17:36, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
