I assume this has the same skin as the Bo Staff? Also, is it a different color? --66.252.176.74 20:28, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, it's the same skin as the Bo Staff. It comes as the default color, but you can apply dye to it. (Which is different from pretty much all other green items.) - John Hargrove User John Hargrove sig.png talk 23:27, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
I love it! It allows me to get the max stats Bo Staff I always wanted! Thanks for this addition. 122.111.96.166 08:45, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Can I add a +1 to the 'I love this' comment fest. Seriously I've been after a max'ed version of this staff for ages. I don't know if you ever watched the Tv Series Monkey. The main character from the series had a black staff like this with gold end's, and now I can make one exactly like it... \o/ 195.183.80.137 14:28, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Is this staff moddable? --Aquinas 19:35, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

No. It already has the equivalent of four mods: Insightful, of Fortitude, Hale & Hearty, and the typical staff-inherent HSR 20%.   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:53, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
No green is moddable, but this is one of the few that can be dyed (along with the green straw effigies). User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 22:37, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Different Skin[edit]

I think at least they should have given it a unique skin, like the walking stick. Bo Staff's are one of the most common and boring weapons in the game. Flaming hot chilli 07:15, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Bo staffs are not common. i never even found a golden one, neither as loot, nor from a chest. on top of this, i for example like that skin for being that plain and simple. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 16:52, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
they drop everywhere in factions, but no one ever use them due to the skin. --Cursed Angel Q.Q 16:57, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Dyeable like the Straw Effigy? Sweet. And yeah, I've never found like any good-stat regular ones, so this is the first Bo Staff in history of GW that's actually worth using. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 03:28, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Versitile and dyeable... works for me... got lucky to get one of these for a gloom seed... MrPaladin talk 16:59, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
No, noone ever uses them because geting one with good stats is freaking hard. It's actually awesome skin: One of rare staves that does not look like plastic toy. Zweistein 08:44, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I have 5 characters that have completed factions on my account- no joy in getting one of these to drop for me. Boring? Post yours in guild wars guru- I bet you get a buyer! cecil 04:42, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Nicholas' Dialogue While Having the Staff Equipped[edit]

I saw the comment in notes about Nicholas' dialogue changing if you have his Bo Staff equipped, so I checked it (mind you, this is AFTER getting his gifts this week, so I'm not sure if the dialogue is different if you haven't), and his dialogue didn't change for me: [1]. If it happens to change if you don't have his gifts yet, I'd be more than willing to revert my edit, but as it stands, I see no dialogue change. I'll check next week MrPaladin talk 20:26, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

You know..[edit]

What if you somehow had 9 of everything, how would this staff work in game? O.o →[ »Halogod User Halogod35 Sig.png (talk ]← 14:39, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Possibly deal multiple packets of damage, one for each req met, somewhat like the Elementalist Prismatic Insignia is set up. Currently that is impossible, though, as you cannot have any effectively-applicable points in a primary attribute of a non-primary profession. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 16:45, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
I understand, but I was just curious. Like would it be like 9 packets of damage or would it be multiplicative? →[ »Halogod User Halogod35 Sig.png (talk ]← 16:51, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
I think it would be separate packets, but I guess there's nothing similar enough to base it off of. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 15:34, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
It'd prob just crash the game --96.50.195.193 05:11, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Same thing that happens when you use Nibble on Shiro. --80.16.169.162 12:51, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
