Talk:Vigorous Spirit

This skill USED to trigger on any kind of attack, multi-attacks would trigger it multiple times (like ranger double shot). They must have changed it on the recent patch so it only affects direct attacks that connect (direct: a non-AOE attack, ex. regular sword slash, connect: solid hit or blocked, not misses or fails) 71.126.56.114 04:29, 6 May 2010 (UTC)MedicDude

Does't Trigger with aoe melee attacks anymore =(

Now i cant inturupt wammos using this yey.......

That's why you use one of the other counters for Wammoes. Like full-on enchantment removal. BmLeyt 21:16, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

This is kind of sexy on my monk. --Readem 20:48, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Whenever I cast Restore Life, then I cast this. Since they come back with a lot of energy, they can basically heal themself slowly...if they need a hand, of course I will completely heal them.--ShadowFog 16:36, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Of course! It's genius! 75.75.180.0 16:40, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeh! great idea! OR you could cast Glimmer or light/WoH/ZB/ Annything ! Close Impact 18:47, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
Personally, I just cast Resurrect and then Word of Healing. With a certain amount of Healing Prayers and Divine Favor, they should be healed back to full. And it costs the same as using those two skills, except Restore Life is a touch skill. Bisurge 22:11, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Think it should be affected from Healer's Boon like Patient Spirit does. Its not a regen spell.

Is this self-targetable? --68.164.83.213 20:06, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Personally I think this is the best non-elite monk skill out there, it's a heal that only cost 5 en. that lasts for 30sec that at high healing prayers can keep almost any attacking class alive by itself, what more can you ask for?--Ja 22:55, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Note on hero usage[edit]

Heroes will cast this on the whole party and recast it whenever it's stripped. Sometimes even when they really should be casting heals instead :( 122.106.48.7 11:14, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Indeed. Furthermore, I find that Heroes do not have the AI to prioritise this on professions who could make the most use of it (i.e. Warriors, Assassins, Dervishes). Vigorous Spirit is a fantastic skill, but Heroes just don't use it properly. - Zaxares 08:14, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Not at Yak's[edit]

I'm there right now and I really need this skill, now I'm disappointed.-Amantis(Not Logged in)--70.130.129.50 10:48, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

It's not at the skill trainer at Yak's Bend, it's rewarded from a quest that's available at Yak's Bend. The quest specifically is The Wayward Monk. --ᴥ GreyGhost ᴥ 13:10, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

conflicting notes?=[edit]

note says- Activates with Illusionary Weaponry, since Vigorous Spirit only requires that you attempt an attack. anomaly's says- Unlike Empathy, Vigorous Spirit does not trigger on missed attack skills. so is one saying only requires an attempt while the other says not on missed?...should one be changed or removedAurenX 01:40, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

I was meaning to test the second note, but haven't gotten around to it. I know for a fact that it doesn't trigger for off-hand and dual attacks used out of sequence (which trigger the text "miss", but also doesn't trigger Illusionary Weaponry, which can't miss). However, the notes as I understand them mean, "Vigorous Spirit requires you to attempt an attack, but only triggers if it does not miss." I will test it in a bit and come back. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 02:47, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Edit: I tested it. The second note is, as expected, wrong. Re-writing Notes section. -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 03:16, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
