Teleport vs. Shadow Step[edit]

As with most Assassin skills: is this rather a Shadow Step, instead of a teleport? -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 13:25, 22 April 2007 (EDT)

If you teleport when your on the ground, it won't help you, your attacker will get you under that 2-3-5 second knock-down. Tiberium 15:22, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

About the Cartography Glitch[edit]

Ive been testing this out and i havent been able to do it using Vipers Defense, or Shadow Meld.. did they fix this sometime ago? I know it can still be done if an enemy runs into the town, and u Death's Charge to them.Sloh Em Oshun 18:35, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

The easiest place to test this technique (it's called Portal jumping) is just outside the Linnok Courtyard. Take one hero or henchman in Shing Jea Monastery, go to Courtyard, then exit it to Saoshang Trail. Immediately turn right and approach close to the next section of the wall after the portal (stand approximately at the centre of section). Set a flag for hero or henchman directly away from you and select him/her. Then use the skill Viper's Defense or Heart of Shadow. You should shadow step around the wall to the Linnok Courtyard near the statue of Temple Guardian. From gameplay point, you still will be counted in Saoshang Trail area, but geographically you will be in Linnok Courtyard. Then you can remove the hero flag and explore the area of Monastery through the apparently closed gate... More info can be found here. Good jumping :) --Slavic 20:17, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
